Help! Need info on possible Dis meet in So. N. Jersey

Does anyone have info regarding the meet in So. New Jersey for the beginning of May?

I actually hadn't heard about a S. Jersey meet. There are quite a few of us in the S. Jersey, Philly area.

There was talk about a possible meet with zurgswife, zurg but hadn't heard anymore. They are in PA, not in S. jersey though.

I'm going to WDW and doing the cruise in 2 days , but would be interested in a meet anytime from June on. I live in Burlington and Pt Pleasant sounds good to me. Basically we are up for anything.

It would be me (33), dh (33), dd (6) and ds (2).

Keep me posted! Would be willing to help if need be...

kimmar067 - if you are really looking at Pt. Pleasnt, there are a lot of great bars and restaurants to meet at. There is even a weekly summer concert series at the beach - I believe it is on Wednesday evenings. There is a train station nearby, that my be of help to any folks coming from North of the town. Plus, taking the train my help with any traffic issues. My DH owns a local taxi service as well.

I'm game for a meet! Let me know how I can help.

Krissalee, I have visited PP Beach MANY times, and the one thing I really like about it is that it's a great place for FAMILIES. The boardwalk isn't too overwhelming (just the right size) and the beach is fairly clean (as NJ beaches go) and it's not too far from my house (Bergen Cty. area)....

kimmar067 - There is another thread on the Dis Meets boards that has info on a Pt. Pleasant meet. Jdubbs has reserved the Lobster Shanty for 3pm on Sunday, July 13 for a Dis meet. I'll be there! Sign up there if you are interested!
