Hi everyone

In Disney now and so far trip has been excellent. We are here 4 days, 1 park per day.

Saturday- Animal Kingdom
Sunday- HS
Monday- Epcot (with extended hours)
Tuesday- Magic Kingdom.

Yday- we had ILL for ROR at 7 and it shut down before we could ride and was down the
rest of the night.

we really want to ride ROR, so I talked to someone at guest services—- literally SO nice. He added park hopper to the remaining two days of our trip and credited us an ILL for today so WE could come back and ride it.

ORIGINALLY, the plan today was have a fun day at pool and head to Epcot around 5 and explore… and ride rides and enjoy extended evening hours. Tomorrow, the plan was MK like 11-6 then have a nice dinner at hotel and pool and pack since we leave early Wednesday.

I literally want to ride ROR So badly but having a hard time seeing how it will fit into plans - with it being the second park especially.

Here is what I’m wondering

1. Should we skip it all together?

2. Should we go to check in at Epcot around 3, head straight to HS do ROR around 4 and then head straight back to Epcot around 5? I have a GOTG from 5:20-6:20. If so, what is fastest way to get Epcot to HS and back?

3. Should we go after MK tomorrow (I’d have to call to get my LL credit switched ). What’s the fastest way to get from MK to HS?

For those who have been on this ride…. Is it worth trying ? Or should we just stick with original plan and go on ROR on our next trip (which will probably be 2-3 years from now)

What would you all do?

If it was me I would go during my EPCOT day. The trip to HS and back is so much more convenient compared to MK. Many will argue that Rise is one of the most immersive attractions (if not THE most) at WDW. I think it's worth squeezing it in if you can. Good luck!

The fastest way to HS from EPCOT (and back) will be by walking or taking a boat from International Gateway. If you are brisk walkers and there isn't a boat there when you arrive at IG, I would choose to walk. Takes me about 20 minutes in total to make that walk from IG to the gates at HS. But I'm a Northerner so I traditionally walk quite fast.

Stop in HS before heading over to EP tonight? Probably the most efficient way to handle it, and yes I think it’s worth it.

I think that ROR is a sight to be seen, so I would personally not miss it. If it were me, I would do it on your EpCot day (as others have said) since you have extra hours there that evening. You could exit via the IG and take the Skyliner or a boat directly to HS. However, if it were me, I would walk it as you are guaranteed to be there in 15 or 20 minutes (as opposed to waiting for boats, or having the Skyliner stop, as it seems to do frequently).

Thanks so much. I think that’s what we are going to do. I am a fast walker but my boyfriend and our son- not so much lol. Where is the boat?

If the skyliner is running perfectly and you aren’t waiting to get on, as you likely won’t be midday, take that. It’s hot out, it’ll save your feet, and when nothing slows you down it’s not slower than walking. The boat is going to take you longest out of your 3 options.

That ride is absolutely worth going out of the way for. I wonder if maybe they’ll make an exception at the front gate at DHS for you with the park reservation situation so you don’t need to tap into Epcot first.

The boat is at the IG exit/entrance, so, if you are entering from the front of EP (Future World), you need to walk all the way to Future World - head toward Canada, pass UK and exit between UK and France. The boat will be on your left as you exit - this, IMHO, is going to take quite a bit of time to get from EP to DHS.

My suggestion, try making a park reservation for DHS, head directly there and then hop to EP. If you cannot switch your park reservations, I would scan in at EP and turn right around to the bus area and get a lyft/uber to DHS - this will be your fastest way to get from EP to DHS from the front of EP. If you are in a time crunch, I would do uber/lyft again to get back to EP - no matter how you slice it (walking, boat, Skyliner) it takes quite a bit of time to transit between EP and DHS.

If you weren’t planning on going to EP until 5pm anyway, I’d go to HS first About n hour or so earlier if you don’t wanna change your EP plans.

I can’t go first :( because I’m park hopping and already had a reservation for Epcot. We are just going to go to Epcot at 2:30 and then go straight to HS and be back at Epcot around 4. Thanks so much!

I agree with PP. Change your reservation to HS, do Rise first, then hop to Epcot.

Rise is worth it. I feel it is better than Guardians. But they’re both excellent.

thnx. I will do that. Do you think better than skyliner mid day?
