I am planning a 2 night side trip to Disneyland during the week following Easter. I am considering purchasing the AAA package that includes a stay at a Disneyland hotel, as this is a very busy week and multiple fast passes might make a huge difference on this trip.
I went to my local AAA office and picked up their Disneyland brochure, which states:
" EXCLUSIVE! Collect FASTPASS tickets for multiple attractions when you package includes a stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel."
I have priced this package on the AAA website and could book it there, but I have questions I need answered. I have called my local AAA office twice, but I continue to get voicemail, and no one calls me back.
I can't imagine why the details aren't specifically spelled out but they are not.
Does anyone know the answers to these questions, or know how I can get them answered?
1. Is there a specific ticket I need to purchase to get the multiple Fastpasses? AAA offers an upgrade ticket option to the CityPass that includes Seaworld and the San Diego Zoo, which is perfect for me as I will be in Carlsbad the rest of the week.
I know in the past that the benefit was linked to purchasing PassportPlus tickets, but there is nothing in this entire brochure linking the multiple fastpasses to any specific ticket.
2. I would also like to know how this benefit is supposed to work this year. In the past I had read that the passport plus tickets were just coded in a way that allowed multiple fastpasses. I would want some assurance that his would be so as it is the only reason I will be spending the additional money to purchase this package. Has anyone purchased this new package?
3. This is a bit unrelated, but do you think I would be better off trying to go TUES/WED/THURS (2 nights) or WED/THURS/FRI during the week following Easter?
If anyone has a good AAA agent or e-mail address that would be good too.
