Help!! Need Beer selection list from Rose & Crown, Germany and Canada

I was wondering if anyone can give me a list of BEER (Lager) served at the Rose & Crown, Biergarten and in Canada.

This list isn't complete, but this is what I remember from my December trip.


Rose and Crown has Bass, Boddingtons, and a Cider (the name is escaping me).

Canada has Moosehead Lager, and several Unibroue beers are served inside Le Cellier.

Germany serves Spaten Optimator, and Becks. I've heard they serve Fransikaner Hefe inside, but have not personally had it.


I'm sure someone else will come along and fill in anything I've missed.

Don't forget Stella Artois and Guinness in the R&C! Mmmmm! I think they have Harp's too.

As an ex-pat Brit now living in Philly I can tell/warn you that the Rose & Crown beer list is somewhere between disappointing and mediocre. Stella is Belgian Budweiser, Harp is Irish Budweiser, and Bass & Boddingtons are little more than English equivalents of Bud & Miller

Germany had the Hefe outside . . . behind/under the glockenspiel.

We went Feb of 2007 and had to go inside Germany to get Franziskaner. It wasn't available at the outside stand.

It's my favorite beer... very smooth, no aftertaste.
But I must admit - MUCH better in the bottle than from a plastic cup.

Canada has LaBatts too. Since it's close by, try the 1664 in France, and since you will be going by Japan, the Kirin, and Italy, Peroni

The Cider may be Strongbow. Which is an English Cider. Very Good.
