I'm reading conflicting information from various sources....and I know my fellow DISers will have the correct info! :) Is Beaches and Cream (at the Beach Club Resort) a counter service restaurant or a table service restaurant? I thought it was counter service, but Disney Dining is telling me its table service. I also understand that no reservations are accepted, right? That would lead me to believe it was counter service also. Please help set me straight! We will be there in a little over 3 weeks and I am doing last -minute planning.

Thanks so much!

its 1 credit for a table service but I wouldn't use one here. Its more economical to use at other restaurants.

Beaches and Cream has a little "take out" door on the side. But I think it's very limited on what you can order "to go". It might even be just Ice Cream Cones. We alway sit down at a table. During the summer, you can have some long lines. We go almost every trip.

Table Service, though there is a small counter service area next to it that I think just does some of the ice cream...none of the bigger sundaes.

The food is fabulous...we ate there in May and are considering a trip back this December if we can fit it into our schedule!

My daughter and I ate there last February vacation. DH was tired and just wanted to go back to the villa. But Stormalong Bay was temporarily re-opened because it was President's Week so she and I wanted to swim. And then we went to Beaches and Cream for dinner. Didn't wait long at all for a table since it was just the two of us. I had a great burger and fries.

Table Service. I remember having a Frozen Sunshine and it was sooo good. :)

not near as long to wait. If you really want to wait ask for a table after Illuminations.

It's a TS but I personally feel it's better to pay OOP for it. The serving sizes are really big, and it's one of the more inexpensive restaurants at WDW. You could easily split a meal here.

In case you're confused - it's table service. There also is a counter where you can sit if you can't get a table. If you sit at the counter, someone waits on you and brings you your food.

There is a take-out window, but the selection is limited. You can't get some of the more interesting ice cream selections at the take-out window, just some basic ice cream selections.

Thanks for all of the responses! I think we will still eat here and will pay OOP, as I had already booked all of our TS meals before discovering Beaches was TS. We are excited about trying it- I have heard lots of good things about it. Thanks, all!
