Help! Mystery Dinner Show Advice

Hi guys,

For my 50th birthday celebration this year I was thinking of taking my kids to a mystery dinner theater show (Kelly, my son, & his girlfriend).

There are a few in the area, and I am trying to decide which is the best option. It doesn't matter to me if we go to Los Angeles County or Orange County

Does anyone have experience going? How about opinions? I'd love those, too.

I really don't want to do the boat in Long Beach, and can't decide whether Los Angeles or Orange County would have a better venue

I wish I could help you MJ, but I have always wanted to do one of these, too and have not!

We did do the Sleuths Mystery Dinner in Orlando and it was just ok, wouldn't do it again...but have heard the ones here are better.

Have you checked out the one on the train? That's the one I wanted to do years ago but quite frankly forgot about it.

I turn 50 this year as well (how did this happen to us?) and am not sure what I am going to do to celebrate.

I hope someone can chime in with their experience(s) and that you have a great time and you can tell me all about it.

Thanks for your input, Linda. I decided on the Dinner Detective Murder Mystery show, and am taking Kelly, Nick, and his girlfriend, Yasmin. We go this Saturday, so I'll give a report on how it was.

I turned 50 on Pi day -- March 14.

We went to the show & between the four of us gave it eight thumbs up. We had a great time, even though the "killer" sat at our table!!
