I'm so happy my parents are joining us for our trip but now I have to book a room only 3 months out for end of January.

Yikes! We booked our room 11 months out!

I already have a request in to Davids but in case they don't have availability any recos? We will be at BC but my parents want to spend closer to $200 a night for deluxe type. I thought of swan and dolphin but they are over $300 a night geesh! AK is available and an option but can anyone recommend an off property resort most convenient to Epcot?

Anyone have a discount code for Orbitz? The one I had expired.

Thanks I appreciate any suggestions!

If you're looking at $200ish a night, you're looking at moderates. POR, POFQ, CB, etc. Deluxes, even the least expensive ones like AK and WL are going to run upwards of $250/night, even after discounts like SPD, or RO discounts.

(Just looked it up- late jan is $245ish a night at WL with room only discount. )

I just booked our late Jan trip just a few weeks ago. Even after the offer released there is still lots available. The Orbitz code REVIEW15 still worked for me. Not sure of your dates (so I used mine), Deluxe I see:

AK Lodge - $203
Saratoga Springs - $228
Old Key West - $228
Wilderness Lodge - $240
Boardwalk - $260
Contemporary - $280
Promo doesn't apply to Swan and Dolphin. Everything else is over $300.

Would they consider a mod? A steal; Caribean Beach - $128

ETA - When I click on the links at Orbitz I am getting even cheaper rates!

The Dolphin, during the last week of January priced out at $211 with either AAA, senior, or AARP discount for a Traditional room.

The Dolphin has many of the Disney Resort perks, including transportation to the parks via bus and via boat to YC, BC, and Boardwalk, as well as to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

The Swan and Dolphin, however, do charge a resort fee of $23 per night.

There is a mandatory 23 USD plus taxes per day Resort Service Package. The Resort Service Package includes in-room High Speed Internet Access, 2 bottles of water daily, unlimited access to the Resort's health club facilities, unlimited local and domestic (US mainland) calls, tennis equipment and access to lighted courts, and seasonal pool and recreational activities. In addition, the package includes 24-hour access to the Dolphin Health Club.

There is also a parking fee, if you have a vehicle.

The Boardwalk, using the Orbitz 15% discount (review15), prices out at $231 per night,
based on 01/28/15 - 02/01/2015. Of course, there is no resort fee or parking charge at the Boardwalk.

Thank you all for your advice!

We were able to secure a ressie thru David's at AKL savannah view within ou budget. Woohoo!!

Now we only need one night somewhere on the boardwalk and I'm thinking Dolphin.

Question - will AKL transfer our bags to dolphin for the split stay or is it considered off property?

Thanks!!
