Help! My nose won't stop running! Allergies!

I woke up with terrible allergies this morning. I took a Claritin and used some eye drops. So, now my eyes are much better, but my nose won't stop dripping. It's practically constant. I even took some nose drops nearly 4 hours ago and it hasn't helped at all. What else can I do?

I feel for you. I have the opposite -- nose so stuffed no air is getting in or out of one side.

Vacuum and dust like mad. All that crud is probably in your house.

I have to say since moving here to Texas I don't miss those allergies. Is the cottonwood blowing? That always got me bad in the spring.

I don't want to scare you, but if it is pretty constant you should have it checked.

My sister had a constant runny nose. She said she would just go through a box of tissues in no time. I kind of thought that she was exaggerating.

It turns out that she literally had an internal HOLE IN HER HEAD, and it was spinal fluid that was dripping out!!!!!

They told her that it was a miracle that they found it without her having a serious infection because that's how it is usually diagnosed. The surgery to repair it (via sinus) was actually quite minor in spite of how very, very serious it was.
