Help...my magic is slipping away

I posted on this topic a little while back but I need a "pick me up." A few weeks ago my DH was informed that they will not be renewing his position next year at the college he works for. He has a job until July 31st, but our trip is in June and I fear that if he STILL hasn't found a new job, it will put a damper on the entire vacation (for me anyway...I think DH does a great job handling stuff like this.) We already have the $$ put aside, but we could always use it if he doesn't get a job, you know? I SO want to go because I'm afraid this will be the last year DD truly "believes" in the characters. I just don't have the "magic" in my heart right now. Any advice?

My advice is to get serious about the job hunt and not worry at all about the trip until much closer to the deadline to cancel. If you start an intense job search now, he may have a job lined up. At the very least he will have a really good idea how tough the search might be.

Good advice. It's hard to spend $$ if you know you won't have easy access to more, but if you can eliminate the threat....
