Help! My fax isn't working! Can I call resort instead?

Something is wrong with my fax and I cannot Fax my room request to POR!! Can someone confirm that I am faxing to the right # 407- 934-5777?? Should I call the resort directly and confirm my ressies and request the bldg I want at the same time? Does anyone know the number I should call?
I made my room only reservations over the internet so I was limited as to what I could put down for requests, I could only put non smoking room, and the number of people - no other info! Any suggestions!! We leave in 4 days!! THANKS!!

hi,

the fax number you have is correct. also, the other day i called the resort i am staying at next week and spoke with the front desk. the cm brought up my reservation and noted my requests on it. i have also faxed my request in the past and then called the front desk a day or two ahead to find out if they received it. the number for the POR front desk is 407-934-6000. good luck. i would just call the front desk and if your fax starts working later fax the request also. it can't hurt.

Last summer we stayed at WL. We were on the road traveling so had no fax machine available to us so I call the resort directly 2 days before we arrived at the resort. I asked for the room assignor for the hotel. She was great. We were upgraded to a courtyard view when I asked her for a view of the otter pond. She was very helpful. The front desk at check in confirmed our upgrade. We were pleasantly surprised at the great view that greeted us when we open the door of our room. I would not hestitate in calling the hotel directly in the future.
