Help! My fave CD is scratched!

I have no idea how - but its scratched and skipping....any help!?!

Well, you could run out to Kmart, Walmart, Target or any other number of stores and buy a scratch repair kit. I think that would be more permanent than most 'home' remedies I could suggest.

After I posted I did some web research, and found out that toothpaste does the same thing as one of those cleaners!! And it worked!! Just dab toothpaste on the cd and put a bit of water on a cloth and wipe from the inside out in straight lines...then clean the toothpaste off the same way, rinse under running water, and dry.
And...
IT WORKED!!!

I used blue crest (not gel). I think they mean the actual paste, not gel.
