I'm trying to add our reservation for WL to My Disney Experience and it is not recognizing the info I'm putting in. I only booked on 3rd Nov. Is it because it's a new reservation or am I doing something wrong. I'm putting in the confirmation number like it asks and filling in the other details when that doesn't work.

Trip is not until August but I want to get it working now as I'm probably going to be in Cambodia when ADR's need to be made so I'm probably gonna have to do them online.

Have you got the US reference from WDTC UK? If not you need to phone them to get that first as it doesn't link with the UK number :goodvibes

I wonder if they are ever going to sync the numbers now that MDE is being rolled out as the basis for managing reservations :confused3 I think I am going to send and email and suggest that they consider allocating both a US and a UK reference number for all bookings made via WTDC UK

I bet that is too simple a solution for them though :rotfl:

There's a huuuuuuge queue of people who can't link their reservations!

I booked through WDTC and it still won't recognise me :(

Please don't - there is so many problems I don't think we need to add any more :rotfl2:

not sure who you booked with, but I booked with wdw travel uk, called them & they said 7 days for the US reference no. I called them 1 week later & asked for the booking ref that would allow me on my Disney experience & they gave it to me. I'm all linked now.
I will say it kept giving me the option to link park tickets & they weren't showing, this morning after an app update, they are there. none of this is a major worry as I don't go till next August, but it seems to take a little while to process it onto the system.

Under the details of the app update I noticed that you are supposed to be able to make ADR's through the app now. I haven't tried but no doubt we will start getting feedback from those who are near ready to book soon.

I didn't actually worry about the tickets not showing in the app because it shows the Dining Plan so I knew the tickets had to be on to allow that. Maybe the desktop and mobile apps will be a bit more in sync with each other now. Time will tell

I had the same problem. I booked my room reservation a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to link it to MDE ever since. I read on here about possibly needing a different reference code so I emailed disneytraveluk (@disneyonline.com) this morning and they emailed back within a couple of hours with a different reference which worked straight away! It might be a bit soon for yours to link but might be worth dropping an email or phone call and they should be able to help!

Sorry I'm new so can't post the email address!

Sorry to quote entire message using the silly app! Not sure if you books direct with wdtc but when I did ours they emailed me an invoice at some point. I used the reference number on the invoice and it worked fine.

just to follow on from being able to make ADRs, it's also giving me the option to add a payment method to my account, so they have a credit card for all ADRs, this was new this morning

Thanks everyone. The number on the invoice doesn't work either so I will give them a few more days and call or email them for the correct number.

We had lots of trouble linking also , had a 6 and and 8 digit number ( both did not work) took the Disney help line 20 minutes to sort. Now have an even longer number plus an alpha numerical ref.

I also had problems with this, I emailed the Disney UK email and got no help at all. I've literally just tried it again with the 6 digit code I was sent when I first booked it and now it's all linked up :)

This number would not work at all at first, so it's taken about three weeks for it to actually work.
