Help my bear travel please!

My daughter is in the 2nd grade and they started a traveling teddy bear program. It runs Dec 18th-mid April. We have to send her bear places, have the person they travel with write a little in the journal, maybe take a few pictures w/the bear in it and send a postcard to the school. Would someone be willing to take her bear "Sugar" on a cruise with them? I will pay to have the bear shipped to you and back home and for the postcard stamp. My daughter would be thrilled to have her bear "Sugar" travel on a cruise.

I teach 4th grade in NY (near West Point) and would love to have her bear visit us. My students have to study NY state and I would love to have the bear as an "excuse" to have them come up with some interesting facts. Please PM me if you are interested and I will send you my address!

The first week in December, my mom and I drove my Grandmother's car to AZ and of course we took Sugar with us. We stopped at the St.Louis Arch at 11pm. It was nice area to drive around. Then we continued on through OK, picked up some rose rocks. Spent the night in Amarillo,TX then continued through NM with a few stops and arrived in Sun City,AZ that night.
I don't know if this will work, but here is a link you can copy and paste to see her first adventure. All of the offers have been wonderful and I will pm everyone after the holidays. I think we are good to go and her bear will be the most traveled!! Sam is competitive Happy Holidays to everyone. UA even gave Sugar her first set of wings.

Hello everyone!! Thank you so much to everyone that took
Samantha's bear Sugar. Lots of great pictures and stories to
share. I just wish there was more time for her to travel.
She took a road trip from Illinois to Arizona..stopped in
MO,OK,TX and NM along the way. She traveled with EMMAH
to Paris, Venice, London and Australia. Then a cute little girl
named Lily and her parents DZNYMANIA took Sugar on the Disney Magic to
the Western Caribbean and KY.
DH then took her to DC for 2 while on business.
I arrived in AK just in time to leave for HI..what a surprise that
was!
I visited Kathryn KCASHNER and Koren in KY and drove with them through
TN,GA and into FL. We were on the Disney Wonder and spent
a few days in Disney World..cool!
I visited NV to TINKERBELLMOM1's classroom and had fun
then I was off to Utah to visit TINKLUVR12 and her class too.
I met lots of great kids..thanks!
I got to go to Canada too, but I sorry I forgot who it was...soooo sorry.
Thanks again to everyone that helped out with this project
for Samantha and Sugar. If we forgot anyone or their names I apologize..really!
The adventure starts again for my youngest daughter Alyia. She is in
2nd grade this year and she can't wait to do this! Our first trip is on the
Disney Magic to Tortola Dec 5th and 2 nights in Disney World!!!

this sounds like a fun idea i am going to ask my daughters teacher if we can do something like it. i have already bought the class frogs from learning express. african dwarf frogs. i was going to be a teacher until i found out i was pregnant with her the first day of college.

I would be happy to take Sugar on a roam around Melbourne, Australia and post her back to you. Or if you are quick, and post her to me in London, I can take her to London, Paris (including my first visit to Disneyland Paris) and Venice over the next 4 weeks. PM if interested.

I am from Canada and taking two cruises and going to the Walt Disney World for Christmas. We are going to Grand Cayman Island, Belize, Honduras, Cozumel, Nassau and Castaway Cay. We will be in Miami and Cape Canaveral and are going to Kennedy Space Center! We will go to MVMCP and Candlelight Processional.

Would be alot to see and do for a Bear. Let me know if I can help!

We can host Sugar, "the sequel" in Nashville for a few days. We might even be able to work in a trip to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park and Dollywood around Christmas time. If we could get her this next week, I have a co-worker headed to Memphis. I might be able to get him to take Sugar to Elvis's house.

We have to pick out my daughter's bear soon...not sure
what she is going to name it yet. As soon as we are done
with the cruise, one of our shipmates will be taking her home
to Canada and then back in time for the Bon Voyage party
at school. We are starting a little early, but her teacher says
that it's ok.
I think that's awesome that you DISers are willing to help out
again... we love it!
