Help--my 3-year-old doesn't like sleeping in hotel beds!

For whatever reason, DS 3 thinks it's more fun to sleep on the floor in hotels, and in a way this is better anyhow since it leaves the 2nd queen bed in the room for DS 21 months (who won't sleep in the Pack N Play anymore), but I'm wondering what I should bring on our upcoming trip so that DS 3 can be more comfortable if he does choose to sleep on the floor. Regular sleeping bag? Ready Bed? (I've seen these at Target but doon't know what they'd really be like). Should I ust ask for extra sheets and make a pallet on the floor? Something else?

Maybe a Toddler Bed? We used one that we rented from A Baby's Best Friend (www.abbf.com) in Orlando, and it was great! The perfect size, and very comfortable. My little one was thrilled with the 101 Dalmations bedding that came with it, and everything was waiting for us at the hotel luggage room when we arrived. They have a photo of it on their website.

onestepahead.com has a great travel bed that we have used in the past......it is very lightweight and user friendly and comfy too!!

Hey there HitchhikingGhost I'm from Harrisburg PA we're neighbors, how funny. We are going to Poly Dec 7th and rented a full sized crib from them how do I make the arragements with the hotel so it is already set up when we get there. Is there anything I need to tell the hotel? We use an Aerobed-- the toddler version. my DD loves it and it's easy to set up and put away.

Ready Bed? (I've seen these at Target but doon't know what they'd really be like).

I have two Ready Beds and they are GREAT! They are sleeping bags, with an inflatable mattress and pillow inside the bottom of the sleeping bag. You unzip the top like a regular sleeping bag, and climb in. My kids LOVED them, and we bring them to WDW, since we are DVC, there is a pull-out in the living room for them, and this is MUCH more comfortable for them.

I knew I'd get some very helpful tips if I posted this question here; thanks so much everyone!

HitchhikingGhost, I'd never thought of renting a toddler bed but I may look into that--it would probably work out well.

I'm going to take a look at the Ready Bed, toddler Aerobed (didn't know there was such a thing), and also at whatever they have at OneStepAhead before I decide.
