Help! Moving Furniture?

Everytime I try to move a certain piece of furniture (I just bought it today and placed it in my room), I get a pop-up saying that VMK crashed and I need to log in again.

Is there anyway to move this piece of furniture? Will it eventually work? Should I notify someone?

Notifying someone would be good, using the Contact Us button on the front page. Unfortunately, this method has been nicknamed the "Black Hole", because not much ever happens.

If you use the Call for Help (button that says Help), very often you will get a disgruntled VMK who will tell you to use the front page button :( They used to help more, but since the player population got so big, they haven't been able to.

Good luck. What furniture is it?

It's a canoe sofa?? I have the tiki room and wanted to place it down by the water. I've finally moved it, but now it won't rotate it. I've come to grips that it's not a "life or death" situation and to just leave that thing where it is and stop striving for "perfection"!! LOL! :)

I am not a room design expert -- mostly I just stack rows of coffins. (Hmm, there's a new nickname: The Under Taker)

BUT, large objects can be difficult to rotate if there's not a lot of space around in the room. Try clearing out an open space and then rotating the object while it's place in the open space.

Good luck!

I had that problem with my turnstile where it would crash every time I tried to move it. Finally I just 'removed' it from the room and then readded it, that worked like a charm. You might want to try that process.

Thank you!! That really did work like a charm! Now my sofa is just where I want it!
