Help! Mouse not working!

I have a laptop and my external mouse (USB) is not working. It was about 15 minutes ago and now any kind of mouse is not recognized by the computer; only the trackpad is.

I've tried restarting. Any ideas??

Is it wireless? Check your batteries.

Wired or wireless, unplug mouse. Shut computer down (not just reboot). Turn computer on and let it fully boot. Replug mouse.

I tried, but no luck.

It's not a wireless mouse and I tried all 3 mice I have and none work, but other things work in the USB drive so I'm baffled. I tried googling it, using the manual, and the apple site but nothing.

I'm going to go to the apple store in the mall by me tomorrow and see if they know.
