Hi, new to the park reservation scene as last trip was a month before the shutdown. Happy to be returning home in 12 days :)
We have 8 park days, DVC resort ressies linked, new Sorcerer's AP passes linked. Made park reservations for all 8 days. Trying to modify days 6, 7 and 8 and there is no option to "change". The first 5 days show option to "change or cancel" parks, but those last three days only show option to "cancel". I don't think the last three days are full parks. Can anyone tell me why it might be showing this way? I'm afraid to cancel and then not be able to rebook. PS I posted in Everything Park Passes a few days ago but haven't received any tips yet. Thanks!

That's how it can be done.
Cancel one day's reservation, then make a new reservation for that day.
(And, if the park you want is full, you won't be able to book that park.)
Sorry, but that's the new "system."
You did not say WHEN you are going and to which parks, so its hard to predict availability.

As Robo said, unfortunately they've got it set up right now so that you can't actually modify - you can only cancel it (with your fingers crossed) and try to rebook for another park. I don't know if they've done it intentionally to keep people from swapping parks all the time or if to was just an oversight when they developed it, but they seem to be fine with it and haven't made any effort to change it.

You can try clicking on *change or cancel" for the days that offer it but I would he surprised if it actually let you just modify. Sounds like you already know this, but Disney has a park reservation availability calendar that tells you which parks do/don't have availability, and the calendar is based on ticket type. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/a...kets,resort,passholder&defaultSegment=tickets

My trip is in December and a couple of weeks ago I canceled and re-booked some of my park days. In my case every park was still available for every day, but it was still a "hold your breath" moment until the first one went through. Just know many of us can sympathize!

Hi Robo, thanks for your feedback! Travel dates 11/11 to 11/20. I'm disappointed but not surprised that it would be a system flaw. Here is the other frustration that I'm encountering, when trying to modify the first five days it shows no reservations available. However when I look at the availability calendar, they are. At this point, perhaps I'll roll the dice!

Hi Katie Dawn,
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate hearing about your own recent feedback. Now I can say I sympathize with you too :o
Hope you have a wonderful trip!

Just an FWIW -

We were at WDW this week and originally booked Epcot for Friday (yesterday). Thursday night we decided to go to HS instead of Epcot. I was surprised to discover that we had no problem getting a HS park reservation twelve hours before park opening. I checked availability, saw it was wide open, then knew I could get what I wanted. All the parks were listed as available the next day.

I've got a similar issue for an upcoming trip, and I'm an Annual Passholder. My trip scenario for this year:

late March - staying at Wilderness Lodge, just 1 park day reserved (HS): Cancel Reservation is only option

1st week of May - staying at Pop Century, 7 park days reserved:
- Day 1: Cancel Reservation is only option
- Day 2: Cancel and Modify Reservation available
- Day 3: Cancel and Modify Reservation available
- Day 4: Cancel and Modify Reservation available
- Day 5: Cancel and Modify Reservation available
- Day 6: Cancel and Modify Reservation available
- Day 7: Cancel Reservation is only option

I was able to successfully change my Day 6 reservation, but I also need to change Day 7 and cannot.
I'm hesitant to cancel and make a new reservation, because if I test trying to make a new reservation right now using a Hotel stay option, it does not list my AP tickets. It only shows the AP tickets if I try to reserve without a hotel stay option.

Has anyone had this issue as an AP ticket holder? Will Cancelling that last reservation open the option to Book a new Reservation?
