Help!! MK Touring w/Spectro and Wishes

Ok, just when I thought I had my itenerary all planned out, I started thinking. We will be in the world December 5-12. My plan was to take my party over to the MK on Saturday December the 6th since they were showing Wishes and Spectro that night. After hearing that there's the possibility of them taping the Xmas Day parade I thought this place would be even more crowded than usual on a Saturday. SO, my question is, do you think the crowds would be along Main Street to watch the taping of the parades and the rides would be manageable? Or would you scratch MK on that Saturday and instead go over to the Animal Kingdom and then head to the MK that evening for Spectro and Wishes and then check out the MK on Monday for the rides? Which day would be better? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!! I truely don't know what to do at this point!!

I would totally skip the MK on any Sat especially if something special is going on! OY! It will be a mad house! Go ahead and see Wishes and Spectro that evening but save the rides for Mon.!

Thank you very much!! I am definitely chaning out Saturday for the AK and Monday for MK. They are also showing Wishes and Spectro on Monday night!! Now we won't have to be in the Mk at all on Saturday!! Thanks again!

DisneyFan 79, We're doing the same thing except a week after you! We're hitting AK on Sat the 13th and MK Mon. the 15th when Spectro is scheduled. Hope the crowds aren't too bad. It'll be here before we know it

I can't believe it is almost here. I planned this trip about this time last year. I have been patiently watching my countdown clock go from 365+ days to almost 30 now!! I also have 1 Disney trip down from back in May. The one coming up will be really special. I am taking my mother who is 48 to Disney for her first time. She is so excited!!! She loves Christmas and what better way to spend the holidays then at Disney for the holidays!! She says she can't wait to see Spectro and Wishes. I hope the crowds aren't too bad either and she is able to experience everything. I know from the looks on the resort boards the WL, which is where we are staying, will be hopping!!

Oh by the way G4L, if you have not stayed at CSR yet, you will love it. I stayed there in May and thought it was an AWESOME resort. We were in Ranchos 7B where we requested and were very close to the bus stop, quiet pool, and main pool. That place is great!!
