this is not poohgirl this is her daughter,
I am 19 years old and need to get to DISNEY NOW. My parents say that we are not going until next summer, but i can not wait that long. If you have any ideas or suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

Well Poohgirl's daughter .... since you're 19 -- I guess you'll have to bite the bullet and pay for your own trip if you can't wait until next summer!

Seriously though...

Are you a student? Do you have a job? Do you have a car?

Do you have friends who share your WDW obsession who will be going sooner?

I don't know what to say else other than -- work hard - study hard - get a good career - so that you can control your own WDW - DVC destiny.

I second Loverafiki's comments:

Since you are 19, do you have a job?. I guess maybe your in college or getting close to going. Maybe you should look into Disney's College program. Many people talk about it all the times. I don't know the details involved in being selected but ask your counselors. There might be even be a thread on these boards for college program info.

I'm sure if you are college age your parents are probably stressed with tuition etc for you, which is a guess. not knowing your circumstances at home.

many kids your age go together to Disney during spring break, sharing costs, staying at value resorts etc. I did when I was a freshman in College.

So work hard, save those pennies, and maybe soon, you'll be able to afford to go by yourself.
