How old do you have to be to drive that mouse boats at the wildness hotel and the others???? Thanks :confused3 :confused3

I believe you have to have a driver's license...or be above a certain age with someone who holds a license. You may want to call WL just to be sure! :wizard:

ok....thanks

if there is anymore information, please let me know

and
it doesn't matter how old you are if you're not at least 5'--no dice
i'm 35 w/a driver's license and they wouldn't let me take one out!!

Are they one seater's? I mean, what if you have kids?

Hi Patchogue! Sound Beach here!....but I spend alot of time in Patchogue...especially taking the ferry to Davis Park!

My family rented a boat last June. There are 3 children and 2 adults, so we just got one and took turns with one adult taking each of the children. I know they recently changed the rules, making them stricter. I've got a price list from the Teton Boat and Bike Rental and it says "Driver must be 12 years of age AND at least 5 feet tall; also must be accompanied by an adult with a valid driver's license". $24.00 per 1/2 hour; $38.00 per hour.

DILs have a few beach houses at Davis and DH is on DPFD, so we spend a good part of our summers there
we've probably seen each other.
:sunny:
imagine how embarrassing it was for us "bay people" to have to take out one boat between all 450lbs of us!! :boat: and DH is a speedboat junkie, so we had loads of laughs about "sledding" through bay lake :rotfl2:

For Wilderness Lodge, you have to be atleast 16 with a drivers licence to drive a boat by yourself. But if you have an adult who has a driver licence, then anyone can drive.

For the ones at The Beach Club, you have to be 13 to drive one by yourself.

At Wilderness Lodge, you can take your boat to the lake infront of MK, and there is alot of boat traffic there, Between the ferry and the othe boat shuttles to the surrounding resorts, it can be crazy. That's why the age is different. Plus, the boats the WL are faster than the BC.

At BC, you can go over to MGM and drive around there. It's a smaller area to drive around in.

They seat 2 people and have a max weight of 400 or 500 lbs.

They are tons of fun!! And soon I'll be able to take on out at Wilderness Lodge by my self!! :yay:
