We are currently residing in Germany with the military and are planning a special family trip in November. I need to make my reservation for our DVC stay right away. We haven't been to Disney in awhile and won't be going back again for awhile, so really want to make it a memorable trip. We are going at a really off-peak time, so there is a lot of availability. I have a 7, 11and 15 year old. We have already stayed at SSR lots of time and BWV several times, so don't really want to go back to those yet.

With the ages of my kids, which resort would you pick and why? I would love your input. Thanks so much.

Hmmmm, if I were you, I would chose either AKV or BCV. AKV is such a unique resort with a lot of family activities, and I really don't think you could go wrong there. BCV, however, is within walking distance of DHS and Epcot (and I'm sure those parks are favorites of your kiddos) and also BCV has its fabulous Stormalong Bay which you guys will be able to enjoy, even in November. Either way, I hope that you guys have a wonderful time! :goodvibes

You may want to consider BLT. It is within walking distance to MK and my children (teens) love the ability to go over by themselves. We always stayed at the Contemporary but now that we own at BLT, we will stay there.

The arcade at the Contemporary is pretty good as well and there are some beach activities, such as parasailing, boat rentals, etc.

You can also have access via monorail to Epcot (transfer at the TTC).

Have a great trip!!!

My kids are just babies, but one of the main reasons we chose BLT as of home resort is location, location, location. With older kids I would think this would be a place you would want to look into.
