We are going to Disney World April 20-26 with 5 day ticket passes. We do not have the hopper. We know its looks to be a busy week with touringplans at 4-6 and undercover tourist at 7-9. Here is our tentative schedule. Please help us in anyway we are total newbies. I am 31 my wife is 28 and we have a 5 year old daughter.

April 21- Hollywood Sudios- With a dinner reservation at 50's cafe at 4:30 early enough to hope and catch the first showing of Fantasmic.
April 22- Magic Kingdom- 11AM Chef Mickey's then Magic Kingdom all day.
April 23- Epcot- 12:20 Coral Reef Restaurant then 6:45 Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for supper.
April 24- Animal Kingdom- Tusker House Restaurant at 12:00pm then Rainforest Cafe at 6:45pmm
April 25- Magic Kingdom- Bippiti Boppiti Boutique at 3:30 then Cinderella's Royal Table at 4:25.

Please help me tweak this. I am open to changes and suggestions. From reading on here I see there are many many members with alot of knowledge and experience at Disney and just want some help. Thanks alot!!!!!

I would check easywdw.com to see if you're going to each park on the "right" day. Have fun! I'll be there then, too.

ETA I would never want two ADRs in the same day (tons of food and table service meals take up a lot of time) but plenty of other people would disagree.

We went last year for our first time the week before Easter and the parks were at 10 crowd level almost every day. Most wait times were unbearable. What confuses me here is Touring plans have the parks at 4-5's while Easywdw has them at 8's. What are typical wait times if the park is a 8 for the busy rides?

Last year, late April wouldn't have been as bad because Easter was earlier. This year, that's right after Easter.

There's an April group here on the Dis and on FB. Look for us!

I would also second not doing two TS in one day.

Your little one will love doing BBB And CRT the same day!

Love Tusker house don't change that you'll love it. I recommend to try and do as much of the little things you can at AK. There is a lot to do at this park even tho most don't think so. Yes do all the rides you want but I recommend the shows and take your daughter on a jungle trek or let her play in the Dino dig sone. In DHS if she likes Disney junior check out those shows that run daily. MK is endless with the amount of things you can do. Epcot I would also recommend doing the little things experience some of the countries in world showcase and I bet your daughter will love turtle talk with crush.

I agree with Rosebud, 2 sit down meals a day will be a lot of time.

Are you staying on property?
Are you on the dining plan?

Look at the cheat sheets on EASYWDW to plan your touring.
Are you planning on taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours?

Two words: Rope Drop. Set your alarm, eat breakfast in your room, get on the bus or in your car. If you're up by 7 you should be able to make an 8 or 810 bus. (but make sure your daughter gets 10 hours sleep! That's the minimum at her age ;))

Rope drop will save you 2 or 3 hours total waiting in line.

If you're staying on property, your choice on take the Disney bus vs. drive, but ALWAYS take the Disney bus to MK. Why? It drops you off near the front entrance. If you drive, you have to walk to the tram, wait for the tram, ride the tram...and then ride the monorail or ferry. To the front entrance. MUCH faster taking the bus.

Agreed. Rope drop will be your best friend during one of the busiest weeks.
Easter week is not a week to lollygag in the mornings with long breakfasts and photos.
Save pics until the end of your days if you can.
Be smart about transportation & know the best ways to get places.
Look at Park maps before you leave so you have ideas of where you want & need to be.
Navigate parks from left to right or counterclockwise for MK.
If you'll be using a stroller - do something to make it stand out! I usually tie a giant bow in an obnoxious color so I can find it easy in the sea of strollers.
Don't stress and just have fun! It'll be busy but it's totally doable.

Thanks so much. I will look to dropping the 2 TS in favor of QS. Also, I am new at this what is Rope Drop? Thanks
We are staying at the resort at Pop Century. We loved the transportaion last time being the bus didn't share with other resorts. I guess this is still true???

I agree with this! Not everyone is a morning person though and may be happier sleeping in and just dealing with longer wait times for rides.

Us personally, we love getting there for park opening so we can do more rides before the crowds get heavy. If you do this, you will have to change your breakfast reservation.

If you're on site you can skip rope drop and just book your FP later in the day. :)
