Help me with my HS strategy please

Our big trip in October is getting close and I am pretty happy with my plans so far. The only place I am getting stuck is with our HS day. We'll be four adults and two 5 year olds. My dad and I want to do ToT and RnR, but the kids are too little and the other adults are not interested in either. All of us have FP+ at TSMM at 9:25 and I got my dad and I FP+ at ToT at 10:25. We have a lunch ADR at H&V at 11:15. We have our remaining FP+ for the Frozen Sing-a-Long mid-afternoon, and we all want to do Star Tours at some point during the day. I'm trying to figure out where to try to fit in the RnR (we're planning on doing single rider line) and what to have DH, DM and the littles do while we're riding. We are planning on staying a full day in the park and have the Fantasmic dining package.

If you and your Dad do Rock N Roller Coaster single-rider line right after Toy Story Mania, that would give everyone else a substantial block of time (while you are doing RnRC and ToT) to do what might interest them.

My suggestions for them might be: the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground, the Little Mermaid show, Disney Junior, and/or The Muppets 3D.

You can probably do Star Tours most any time without much wait, but you would probably have the shortest wait if you did it between Toy Story Mania and Tower of Terror (thus saving RnRC for some time in the afternoon), so that might be a better alternative.

Does the park open at 8 or 9 that day? Either way, you and your Dad go immediately to RnR, get there at rope drop obviously. You shouldn't have more than a 5-10 min wait, especially in Oct. Then when you are done, meet the rest of your party at TSMM for the 9:25 FP. Even if you are few minutes late, you'll be fine. You won't need a FP for Star Tours at all - especially that time of year. We were there in July and rode it 8 different times over 2 different days we were at HS! We were trying to see how many different movie combinations we got, and even being in the summer we never waited more than 10-15 min for that one so you can definitely fit that one in later any time. But for RnR, your best bet is to go first thing. The FP's usually run out and the wait will be terrible later on. If the wait goes quick you could even do RnR and then ToT immediately after. Both days we did it, it was a 5 min wait for both and that was in the summer and going first thing. And you could always rid ToT again at your FP time or just let it go.
