My Dh and I and my dd are going in October, to celebrate my dd 6 bday. We are staying 3 nights, at the CSR. We have 2day park tickets and plan on doing MK and Epcot. The first day we want a Dinner at a hotel, day 2 something in MK (the day of my dd bday) and day 3 something in Epcot. We prefer buffets. We know we want to do Chef Mickey, just not sure when. I have heard that the food at the Princess meal at Epcot isn't great and it isn't a buffet. I also don't think I want to spend the 2 meals for the CRT. My dd isn't that much into princesses anymore, so it isn't a necessity. So help me please decide what to do!

The only buffets coming to mind at those parks are Crystal Palace and Biergarten. There's a few more options if you want to try another resort location. 1900 Park Fare is one we are hoping to get for dinner & it's a buffet.

Thanks Summer. How is the breakfast at 1900? We did that dinner last time with Cinderella so we wanted to do something different this time.

What about 'Ohana's, I know it's not a buffet, but it's all you can eat.

Or Garden Grill...it gets very mixed reviews but it is family style character meal in Epcot (so all you care to eat)

Chef Mickey might work for your resort day OR for your MK day since it is a ride on the monorail

We are doing Crystal Palace for DS's 3rd b-day mostly because we wanted to be in the MK and not have to leave (we are doing Chef Mickey's a few days before)

The princess bfast at Ackershaus in Norway was horrible I am sorry to say. It was not a buffet, only a stack of food on a tier type plate. Not at all worth the money. I thought id would be great taking my 2 dd and a dn. However, the brunch at 1900 Park Fare is always a hit! Whispering Canyon Cafe is so much fun also. Not a brunch, but a very hearty all you can eat meal. Stick to your ribs kind of food, with great diner interaction with the staff. There was a stick horse race last time we went. And be sure to ask for ketchup!
