Help me with Bridal Shower!

I'm not a bride, but a MOH. I need a little help with colors for my sister's shower. I'm doing pinks, no brights, but soft pinks (think peonies). I don't want a ton of other colors, but I need an accent color with it. The invite will be (fill in color here) as the base w/ pink flowers, pink dots, pink ribbon, etc. I know that an easy pick would be brown, but I kind of want to steer away from brown. And I don't really like green with pink, either. The shower has a shabby chic/vintage/floral/tea theme to it. Any suggestions of an accent color with the pinks? I know that there are fabulous ideas on these boards and if anyone could help, it would be you all! Pics would be great too! Thank you!

I had a shabby chic style wedding and I paired my pink with a sage green.

Sage green would look really nice with pinks! You could use faux flowers as decorations and just pick the nice leafy ones to use!

Another idea, which I personally like, is to use silver. Silver makes just about any color look quite elegant for some event.

My vote goes with either sage or silver!

A periwinkle color would look pretty too. It's more purple than a blue. I think blue and pink would look baby shower-ish. LOL. I really like pink and green together. Very pretty. I know this has nothing to do with a shower but here is a shabby chic store that has rugs with different shabby chic style colors. It may give you inspiration.

If you are doing several light shades of pink... I always liked when the colors just kind of faded into cream or ivory.
