Help me understand

If I book a room only deal through DU and it comes to $1000, and I pay in fuul the day it is booked. Then the codes come out and it drops my room to $700. What happens to the $300? Can I use it as credit and put that on my room key or do I get a check back?

Also, my wife tried to suprise me and came home with 2 adult and 2 child Park Hopper passes that she bought from the local Disney Store. We are going until November of 2003. Do these passes ever expire?

I can't help with the refund question,but I do know that passes never expire.Even if you go in November '03 and use 3 of the four days,the 4th day can be used ANY time after that!Even years later!Don't fret and thank your wife for helping out!!

Can't answer your first question. I've never used DU, so I don't know how they work.

As to your second question, Park Hopper passes never expire. They will be good for your Nov. 2003 trip. Buying your tickets early is a good way to protect yourself from price increases. Even if prices go up, the tickets you have will be good at no additional charge!

In addition to what Regina said, if you pay by credit card you will get the credit on the card you paid with, if you pay by check, Disney will issue you a check for the overpayment.
