Help Me Understand why no "Reservation Wanted" anymore

I have been a member of these boards for 12 years and I constantly speak very highly of these boards, the moderators, the podcast, the owners, and the affiliated websites and have sent countless people here for information and to Dreams Unlimited Travel for reservations. But I gotta tell you, I'm very disappointed that the decision was made in January to take the Reservation Wanted option out of the Rent/Trade forum. Maybe I'm wrong but this seems to be in an effort to drive business to Dave's DVC Rentals (or whatever it's called).

I've never seen Pete Warner do anything but things that are helpful to the DIS community, nor have I seen him act out of greed, especially with the economy the way it is. This move, however, is one that I question the logic of. I hear Pete continually question Disney's logic when they do something that seems to be money motivated. I've gotta do the same here.

Someone, help me understand this move. Tell me how this makes it easier for me to find a reservation for my upcoming trip in June of 2011.
