HI guys thanks for all the help with getting around and the starter stuff, now I've moved on, ...... to magic. what is it and how do I get some :rotfl2: I see people driving around in cars and other stuff, but i just don't understand the whole concept. Thanks Leann

Magic is acquired by getting VMK pins. There are quite a number of them, most of which are retired, or even rare. Some of the retired ones are snowman magic, dancing inferno, turn into bat magic and invisibility magic. Snowman magic was a buyable last year at Christmastime; we are all hoping it shows up again for this Christmas, but you never know with VMK!. Dancing Inferno was a host prize, it was a buyable for like one day or something, and is extremely rare and sought after. Turn into bat magic was buyable this past Halloween, but expensive (10,000 credits). Invisibility magic was a reward for the retired Haunted Mansion in park quest.

The car magics are earned by doing in-game quests. Those are described in the VMK Player's Guide. You have to start by getting your Dive Quest pin. There is also a Space magic pin that allows you to enter the Inner Space Shop (remember I told you there was another shop but it was a bit more complicated to get to? Bingo!).

Do that help confuse, I mean clarify things for you? LOL

Do you know when or for what price Inferno was for sale? I thought it had never been sold in shops, and you could only get it from trades, a few host events, or from staff.

hi again, and again thanks, I am still a little confused..... but I'll work on it :thumbsup2

I'll explain it as best I can.

When you get magic, you must first put it on. Then you have 2 choices: either click the little icon next to the talking box and double click on the magic, or click on the icon and say exactly what it says for the magic. This will trigger the magic.

Some different magic you can get are the following (I will put them in groups)

Code magic: This includes turn into pirate magic, cursed storm, and bury in magic. You can get these codes on pirates boxes, but a lot of people have them offhand. I know I have them somewhere, and will edit this post if I find them.

Tomorrowland magic: There are 3 different tomorrowland magic pins. You get these by doing quests in tomorrowland, and there are 4 different car magics. These are: Car magic, Space suit magic, and Diver magic.

"Normal" magic- You earn these in various places:
Fireworks magic- Play fireworks game until you are able to get 240,000 and get in second place or lower. You can't get first or it won't give it to you.
Invisibility magic- You used to be able to earn this by winning 10 levels of each pirates game, but they recently discontinued it when the new pirates game came out.
Teleportation magic- You can get this in disney parks, in the tomorrowland quest.
Snowman magic- This was sold some time in December, for 2000 credits. They are pretty rare now.
Bat magic- This was sold in February, along with October, and was sold for 10,000 credits. It is pretty highly valued since it cost so much.
Inferno magic- This magic is only obtainable through staff or trade. It is one of the rarest items in the game.

1-time use magic- There are only 2 of these so far. There is the coral magic, which you get from gold treasurechests. You can only use them once, and they disappear from your inventory. They have an "expiration date" in which you can use them before they disappear on their own. The second is 1 use bat magic, which you could buy for 200 credits last month. You can't get this anymore.

Hope this helps, I'll try to update it if there's something I missed.

You're trying to confuse me people. You can only get this through staff games, sold for a day is just a rumor.

With the OLD version of the pirates game in vmk you used to be able to get invisibility magic after reaching level 3. This was only able to be acquired once per character, making it's trade value pretty good. Once they changed the pirates game to the version that now exists, this reward was no longer available, making its value much higher.

Also - there is Teleportation magic. This is a prize given in the Tomorrowland quest at DLR and WDW.

You will learn them - we were all new once. Let me know if I can help.

I stand corrected on the inferno, if it never sold. I thought it was, for one day, way back in or near beta. Since I was not around in beta, I defer to whomever was! I got mine in a host game, just before they stopped giving them out.

Those pins are no longer available and the codes now give 1 credit apiece.
