Hi everyone!! i am new to the disney boards but not new to other chat boards such as cruise boards....

i have planned a surprise trip to disney for DH and myself without the kids-after a very stressful december, i am ready to "play" at disney!! :)

i'll give you the details..please help me with ways to surprise him and make this a wonderful trip!!

first of all, he has only been to disney once and it was with the kids....i have been there 3 times....all with kids....

we fly out on Jan 20th in the afternoon....he knows we are going away for the weekend, but has no clue where to....and i'm sure he thinks it is close by as he mentioned yesterday about the weather here in Ohio and maybe having nasty weather to drive in.....

we will have friday and saturday in the parks- i purchased park hopper tix so we can see all parks if we want to....(we have been to all 4 parks before)...

and then fly home sunday.....

well, any suggestions??? i want this to be a surprise until we leave....what is the best and most creative way to do this????

thanks in advance...

Marsha

Give him small hints between now and then. Tell him to pack sunscreen. Give him a t-shirt (or some other trinket) that says "Florida" on it. Give him vague clues. When you head to the airport, don't say a word until you get to the gate; that'll be the best surprise. :)

I just surprised my DH in november...i wrote up an invitation, and put it in the glove compartment of the van, and he thought we were going to dinner, so I told him the directions to the restaraunt were in the glove box, then when he opened the glove box, he saw the invitation...he was so excited and surprised...he thought it was a joke until I started driving to the airport...here is what my invitation said.....

Mickey and Minnie Mouse
request the honor of your presence
November Eighteenth Two-Thousand Four
at
Walt Disney World
your plane leaves at 8:25pm
see ya' real soon!!
Love,
Mickey & Minnie Mouse

I downloaded disney font and printed it out with the disney font...then I rolled it like a scroll...it was the best thing ever!!! Good luck, and have a great time!!!!!!!

Where did you download Disney font? I was planning on doing an invitation similar to yours to surprise DW in November.

I did a google search for free disney font and found it there. Good luck...let me know if you can't find it, I will look it up and send you the link. :D

Disnee Dad Says.......................................................I don't really like the surprize trip thing. But I assume he will like it, and you know him well, so this is what he really wants.

Pound two parks really hard, and maybe a third for dinner. I think MK and EPCOT, they have a monorail connection. THE dinner should probably be at California Grill at the Contemporary, or my choice, the Brown Derby at MGM.
Ask for the Cobb Salad. They seem to be the only place that sticks to the exact ingrediants or the original.
