I was at a PTO meeting the other day with DD and we were trying to set dates. Long story short.........
We got on the subject of trips to Disney. Our VP asked if we ever stay at Disney and I said almost every time we go it's for the weekend. DD pops up and says "NO mom it's usually day trips!" Now we have a slight argument going on. When I got home I went through my CC bills and found that we have been at least 5 times this year and 3 were weekend trips. Meaning we stayed at a resort 3 of 5 times.
Dec. - (have record of dinner bill--- not sure if over night stay was involved)
Jan. - 3 nights stay Coronado
Feb. - 3 nights stay POP
April - (day trip)
June - 3 nights stay Coronado

I do keep some Disney stuff but I don't keep the room bills so I can't go back and count them. I'll be keeping a record from now on because I'm curious to know exactly how many times we do go. This is why I'm here today. I am begging for all the wonderfully knowledgeable people on this board to tell me how I can find out exactly how many times I have been there. Does WDW keep this information? Do they have records of when you use your AP to enter parks? I'm guessing they don't but hoping that they do.

Oh yes they do!! If your a AP you know you do the finger grip every time you enter!! At our wedding last year we had Disney print out our usage for the last couple years! To show our guests how frequent we go, and why we were married there!!!

Oh My Gosh! That is unbelievable! Where or how do I get a print out?

This would be absolutely amazing. I'm so excited!

A little much? I'm sorry

I save the room keys. They print the dates on them. The oldest one I have is from May'96. Its yellow. I mean bright bright yellow. One time I had a lot of them with me, upon checking in I joked with the CM if any of these fit the room lock can we stay for free. Ok, knew that wasn't going to happen but we all got a good laugh out of it.

I especially like that they now print everyone's own name. DD12 and DD19 have their first key. Ok well they have others but this has their own name. So far this year I have 4, DD12 has 3 and DD19 has 1. HEHE I went all 4 times. I must say I prefer going with DD12, all DD19 wanted to do was talk on the cellphone with her friends back home. DD12 was with her dad that week.

CRO wil usually have the times you've gone, as long as you've booked thru them and have given them the proper information and as long as you don't have multiple households within their system.

Every time I call to book a room they ask me how many times I've been there, as if they do not know. I'm guessing the screen they are looking at does not give them that info. Perhaps if they dig a little deeper they could find out. It may be worth a call to see what I get out of it.

We're going back in a few weeks (August 20th) I'll probably stop by Guest Relations at one the parks to see if they know about how I could get this info. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be best to go to GR @ TTC as the parks may only have info on thier particular park. Or maybe the resort GR? Heck I'll just ask everyone!

Thanks

They ask the information because they're required. Some of the Cm's will say "I see you've been here XX number of times" While the newer ones will ask "And how many times do you think you've visited WDW?" this is part of the Quality Monitoring check sheet that they have to complete to pass the call.

Trust me the script gets longer and longer every month as new things are added in.

I called CRO today and asked if it was possible to find out how many times I had actually booked a stay. The woman thought I was absolutely crazy then she informed me that there was no way she could find that information and she was pretty sure it did not exist. I guess I'll just have to wait until we go in August to find out. Hopefully I'll get the info then. Just to make it clear, everytime I have ever book a stay it was thru CRO (407) WDISNEY. That's CRO right? cause that's the number I always call.

Patti

Yes thats the right number. There are many factors as to why they may not be able to see the information. First off, You may have multiple households in the system, if thats the case your info is scattered, and they can only see the info on the one in front of them

You may have not booked with them in the past, so they wouldn't have that info.

Cro can't tell you when you've visited and used your pass or stayed off site, that's not in their capablilites.
Basically it's the information you've given them that they can parrot back to y ou.

I just called yesterday to add some days to our next trip and they also mentioned how many trips we have made in the past. :Pinkbounc

I'm going to try this again cause we have stayed countless times, always onsite, have always booked thru CRO and we only have one household. We've never gone with a group or booked under a different name or used a different address.

Some of our most recent visits are,
Coronado in June '05 3 days
POP Century in April '05
Coronado in February '05
??? December '04
Carribean in October '04

all of these were booked under my name at my address using CRO. Same as I always do. When I get a minute I'm going to call again and see what happens. This is just bugging me now. I hate this.

Patti

Honestly that doesn't mean you don't have multiple households. I've seen (Yes I was a CRO cast Member) a house with the same address up to 14 times.

Just letting you know, that they might not have the info you're looking for.

I believe they don't have the best record keeping. Whenever I call CRO and give them my last name (my married name) they always think I am my sister - ok her name with my last name (that has never been her's!!) Just because I brought her with me - but they should have me 1st on the account and her as a guest. I have told them a few -times as well - still same thing each time I call. Oh well!!

I called in July to book MVMCP in December, and they didn't know I was there in March (stayed at BWV), and thought DH was his brother. I often wonder how good their records are.

They MUST have this somewhere!! When I called this year, they asked my phone # then asked if I was my DD26 name. They had her under my phone also her own phone and address. Also her married name. Last time she was there was 2002. Last time she used my phone # was for her wedding @ WDW in 2000!! So they must keep some kind of record!!!

Sounds like she's in your household. Simply they can't remove her once she's been added in. Their database doesn't allow for that kind of manuver.

For the others who've mentioned about trips not showing up, that tells me you have multiple households. Happens *shrug* not much you can do about it. That tells me there was a lazy CM somewhere who couldn't find you on the first hit, so the entered you again.

As for keeping accurate trip logs, Not something Disney's going to be able to do, sure they can tell you how many times you've been there, because they ASK that each time you call.

Sorry folks, thats the way it is in CRO
