Help me see resort decorations...

I am trying to plan a day to visit the resort hotels to see the Christmas decorations. Monorail and others as well. We have not done this before and I am not sure where to start or what order to go in. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do whatever works for you. Do you have a car? If so, go to one of the Monorail hotels (I'd start with the Poly), have a look inside, then ride the monorail to the next one, look around and then on to the final one for a look before completing the circuit to your start. Actually, that will work even if you don't have a car. Just take a bus to the MK and hop the monorail there.

For the other resorts, you can walk to the BW/BC/YC/Swolphin from Epcot's International Gateway. Or just take a bus to one of these from whatever park you are visiting that day and then walk to the others.

The remaining ones that you should check-out include WL and AJL; we don't find the decorations at the moderates or the value resorts to be that compelling.

I'm assuming you'll be doing this when you visit in Dec, right? If so...this is how I do it. Head to MK, then hop on the monorail and go to the Contemporary, check it out. Then hop back on the monorail and go to the Polynesian, then to the GF. Back to MK. At this point, you can take the boat over to WL and check it out. Then, take the bus to AK, and transfer over to the bus to AKL, check it out, back to AK. Bus to Boardwalk or YC/BC. Check them out. Those are my favorite resorts during the holidays. It takes up a bit of time, but unless you really want to linger at the resorts you should be able to do them in a day. Or you could to the MK monorail resorts on one day, and then the others on a different day.

I'm assuming you'll be doing this when you visit in Dec, right?

LOL. Yes our trip is Dec 1-10. If I want to see the decorations it might be helpful if I go when they are up!!! LOL!!!
