Help me see Fantasmic

So our last two trips we were unable to see Fantasmic...... Our last trip we had got fast passes but we got there too late, granted it was before the show started, but we were still back in overflow seating very very end left, we ended up getting up and leaving because it just was not good at all from that spot..... The trip before that we just were not able to get there early enough to get in line and get a good seat............ I don’t want to depend on getting there an hour before so would my best bet be to make a Fantasmic dining reservation?

With a package you still need to get there 45 to 30 minutes before

At a certain point before the show, they need to start letting guests without any kind of special ticket start filling in the available space in the dining and fastpass sections so that everyone can get seated before the show starts. For that reason, they print an arrival window on your dining package ticket. So there is really no workaround that lets you show up late for good seats.
