Last week I saw a post on here about a lens rental, Thx..
I am going to do it for my 9 day trip in Feb....

Now I don't know what I should rent,:confused3

I have a Sigma 18-125mm f/3.5-5.6 DC Lens & Canon CA8518EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Autofocus Lens.

I shoot mostly with the Sigma, I should shoot alot more with the 85 but I don't..why??
I bought that for indoor kid activities and some shows we've been to.....

I'm just itching to support this economy a bit more and buy a lens, just not sure which one....
I think it's time for an upgrade to the Sigma...

If you had (have) one lens that is your go to at WDW what is it and why?

Body is Rebel XT (a.k.a. 350D)

Thank you !

Just curious, where to you go to rent a lense and how much does it cost?
Sounds like a great way to try it before you buy it.

lensrentals.com, rentglass.com, borrowlenses.com and cameralensrentals.com seem to be some of the ones mentioned around here most often. Although I have yet to renta lens, I plan to for our trip in December to WDW since I after the nice Christmas I had...I won't be able to buy a new lens for a while (unless a reeeeally good deal comes along and I can trick DH into believing I had it since I got the camera ;) )

I've used Camera Lens Rentals, and I would recommend them highly. I used one of the other companies ( which I will not name), and they put the wrong zip code on the package and I never got the lens I needed for Miley Cyrus in Bryant Park this past summer. CLR did a great job, timely shipping and great customer service. I rented a Canon 100-400mm IS L lens for two weeks for about $130.00 including round trip shipping and insurance.

My only warning: once you shoot with professional glass, you will want to buy professional glass! I ended up purchasing a 70-200mm f2.8 lens about a month after my rental. Some of the rental places also sell equipment, so be sure to ask if you rent and then want to buy.
