Help me purchase Xmas gifts for my UK relatives?

It's our first Christmas not to see my hubby's side of the family at all and I need a few names of affordable websites where I can pay for gifts and have them shipped to places in England.

I was thinking Costco, but even though the UK has Costco, I couldn't figure out any on line ordering. Any book stores, Target type places?

Amazon UK would probably be your best option. We have Costco but you need to be a member and they are not on line.

Tesco Direct www.tesco.co.uk, Argos www.argos.co.uk both carry just about everything you could want to buy also. They are more along the Target prices.

A more expensive but still not too bad place is John Lewis www.johnlewis.co.uk (they usually have free delivery).

I would agree with the above and say Amazon co uk. We have family in South Africa and they find it really easy to do this way.

Just moved across to UK Comm, you might get more response here but you have had some good suggestions already. I would guess you need to do it soon though for Xmas delivery. Amazon just sent me an email saying 18th for Xmas delivery but its just taken over a week for our last delivery from them.
Our local post office is in chaos, staff walking out, working Sundays, delivering upto 5pm on a Saturday etc. I think the amount of online ordering has caught them out this year.
