All right. DH has said that I need to make a decision pretty soon here. I have 2 children, by the time we go they will be 5 and 8. We have been to Disney 3 times. We've done the CR, WL, and CBR. Right now we have ressies at the CR Tower club. I really want to try another resort, but don't know which one. I don't want to just pick the CR because it's safe. Any one with any opinions? DH is at the end of his rope:crazy2:

Oh yeah, we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary while we are there

If you don't care that it isnt a monrail resort, my vote would be the AKL. I think the entire family would enjoy being able to see animals from your balcony. And if you are doing concierge, you could do the sunrise safari with the family or send the two children to the kid's club and do the new sunset safari to celebrate your anniversary. Good luck in making your decision. :D Planning is half the fun!

For a tenth anniversary, try the Poly. Perhaps one evening you and DH can slip away for a (quick) romantic walk along the beach.

It's a beautiful resort, great location, great transportation, and good for children.

Any resort you pick will be great. Pick one whose theming you like and give it a try.

Try the Poly, YC, or GF. You won't be disappointed. :) I've stayed at a lot of resorts and they are all fantastic!!! :hyper:

Looks like you have done the MK Resorts...how about one of the EPCOT hotels like BW or YC/BC staying so close to MGM & EPCOT is a totaly different experance, then just visiting the two parks by bus or monorail. Have a Great Trip.:earsboy:

Are you still going to concentrate on MK with children at ages 5 & 8? If so, I would say try the Poly. It is still a monorail resort, but it has a Hawaiian flair. So great for your anniversary too.

We have stayed at the Poly twice and have enjoyed it. Whatever you decide, have a great trip!:)

We have kids about the same age and they loved the Poly. It has a great pool, wonderful beach and great access to both MK and Epcot. We are hoping to be going back there in May. You will love it.

With your previous experiences I would choose either AKL or the Poly. We loved both and so did the kids. We wouldn't hesitate returning to either. Both are quiet, have wonderful things for kids and parents to do and can be very romantic.

No, I'm not trying to stay near the MK and the monorail resorts. Only DS (8) dreads the bus. The rest of us have a ball. I haqve wanted to try the Poly, but I really don't know much about it. I have only seen it in passing. If I could guess at where my biggest debate is, it is between the Poly, Boardwalk, and the Beach club. We could do the S/D as my husband is a teacher, but I would like to save that for a shorter trip. So, I guess any feedback on those 3 resorts would be great. I'll still take any advice on the other resorts too!!
