Can someone please help me find a cute little girl elf on ebay to use for my DD for Elf on a shelf... I read about it on here and I am searching ebay but cant find anything ---- IF anyone can help me I would really appreciate it... I am on a major budget but I thought this is something special I can do for my DD since there wont be much for christmas

My Hallmark had some in asection away from the official elves on a shelf. Cute, not creepy. Like $8-$9. They also have coupons sometimes, if you sign up online.

I just got home from looking for one myself! The one I ended up getting was at a Hallmark and the brand of elf was called an Annalee. I liked it because it has a wire base in the body, so it is VERY poseable! I bought a small one, probably 7" tall and it was $14.50 (more than I was looking for, but the wire body was just perfect). I'm going to write a letter from Santa explaining what she is there for.

The elves that my children have came from Marshall's and HomeGoods. They were $5 each. One is a boy and one is a girl, so it will be perfect for my two. They are soft bodied and not very big. Perfect for little hands. My two friends bought the same ones for their kids. We cannot WAIT to see what our elves get into this year.

How about a beenie baby? No one said it had to be an ELF, I have read about people using reindeers, how about a snowman, think outside the box, the story can apply to any christmas character!

I just ordered a book and elf set on Amazon for $29...and got free shipping!
Can't wait for it to arrive!

I bought our elves last year at Marshalls for under $10 each. Good luck!

there is a $5 off coupon in this month's Martha Stewart Living for Hallmark

$5 off total purchase

We got ours at Home Goods (cousins with TJ Maxx and Marshall's so they have them too), for under $12.00 last year. It was an annalee so it's wire bodied and poseable. If you really get stuck PM me and I'll look here for you and send it to you.

I got my DD a Magical girl elf last Christmas at Magical-Elf.com, you can customize to have a specific complexion hair type etc..my DD loves hers and can't wait for her to return, she also comes with a letter to the child from Santa about the elf as well as "magical" dust to make them come alive. This one is very involved, she is supposed to get into mischief that the children are then responsible to clean up, she eats crackers and water and at times brings small gift leading up to Christmas.

Thanks Everyone I found a cute little one on Ebay from Rhoudouf and its prefect and looks devious... which is what I was hoping for... :) I cant wait to do this... I think I am going to "mail" it to her and say Santa mailed it to her to watch over her

Try TJ Maxx, Ross, or Marshall's. They always have them for $15 and less, depending on the size you want.
