We have a one day park hopper after our cruise... We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and will be doing the hopper day 8/24 -Sunday.. I am so confused what to put on our magic band fast passes . The must do is new Snow White ride. The other must dos are things my daughter is now tall enough for..so Everest at ak, kids want rapids, Maybe safari ,maybe show, then at HS def rock roll, tower of terror and toy story, and MK Snow White, thunder and splash. Not sure what to do and what time to start fast passes, so confused.
Right now we have a dinner at whispering canyon at 630 but are trying daily to get BOG.never done other. Hubby also would consider liberty tavern. I have no idea what will really happen for dinner lol.
We would like to try ak flame tree barbecue for lunch this day if wee can be at ak for lunch.
Where would you use fast passes? I would say MK later but is it true we can't use fast passes until we have already used fast pass plus? I am so confused:/
Thanks.
My original guess is HS then AK then MK but if so then what time to put fast passes and where? Any ideas welcome thanks!

With FP+ you're allowed to select 3 attractions per day for one park ahead of time. After those first 3 are used you can then choose a 4th at a FP+ kiosk, after the 4th a 5th, and so on. Because you have such a large variety of must-do's, I would RD one park and get the ones in that park done, and then schedule FP+ for the second park (all in row, ie: 10-11, 11-12, 12-1) and then leave for the third park. Once at the third get in line at a FP+ kiosk to select a FP+, and after using it, repeat the process.

Honestly, I think you're going to be hard pressed to do all that at three parks in one day. I checked easywdw.com's crowd calendar for August, and HS and AK are recommended that day, but MK isn't unless you don't plan to get there until 10:30 pm (evening EMH is from 11pm-1am.)

The only things we plan to do
Are above, we don't plan on doing a lot at any one park and are willing to
Skip Epcot. I wouldn't ask for advice except we haven't use magic bands or plus before and I don't get that part. This will
Be our 4th visit in 6 years, otherwise I wouldn't dream of hopping.

FP+ allows you to choose 3 attractions in advance. Those 3 must be in the same park and, if at DHS or Epcot, adhere to their tiering policy (outlined here). Once those initial 3 are either used or expired you can select a 4th FP+ at an in-park kiosk. After the 4th is used you can select a 5th. If you're hopping from DHS to MK, for example, you cannot make selections at a DHS kiosk for an MK attraction. Everything is now done online or at a park kiosk, there are no more legacy FP machines in the parks. MagicBands have nothing to do with FP+ aside from giving an alternative way to access park admission and FP+ reservations (a hard ticket works just the same).

This will be a tough feat to accomplish! My suggestion would be to start at AK rope drop and go directly to EE, then hit Kali River and end at Safari. (You will have a wait for safari). I would decide that day, depending on crowds, if a show is realistic. Next, I would head to DHS - this is where I would use my FPs. I would select Toy Stoy, Tower of Terror and Star tours as the three choices, maybe 1 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm. Eat lunch here while you have time waiting on a FP. Once you have used your 3rd FP - immediately see if you can secure a 4th early enough for RnR, if not, head to the ride and wait to ride standby. Next I would head to MK. Make an ADR in the park for around 8:00? (WCC would just take away more time due to travel). After dinner start hitting your must dos, expecting you will have to ride standby. The crowds will definitely start thinning out during the evening EMH. GOOD LUCK!

Good luck OP. Not sure how late you are planning on staying at the parks but as a PP mentioned, MK has magic hours from 11 PM - 1pm. I have no clue what mine train waits will be like at that time of night tho so you might want to use FP+ for that ride, but that means you will not be able to use FP+ in the other 2 parks. As a PP suggested you could use them in your 2nd park and hope you can get a late day one for MK. The thing is, I believe you need to be in MK to book a FP+ for that park. I also have some doubt as to what availability will be left for such a popular ride.

If everyone in your group is over 7 you can take advantage of single rider lines for EE and RnRC. Test Track also has one but you mentioned bypassing Epcot.

Personally (just based on rides not logistics), I think I would start at HS and get there by 8:15 so you are in the front of the pack to get in. I know some folks say it is a little odd to wait 45 mins at the gate to bypass lines but for me it's about maximizing park time. Once in, I would "walk with a purpose" to TSM and then head over to RnRC and ride together or single rider line. Then Tot and then head to AK. You will have waits for rides but you can decide then if you want to wait. Then hop to MK and use FP+ there.

If I think about logistics, I would start at AK, hop to HS and use FP+ on TSM and TT and ride single rider for RnRC and then head to MK and hope you can snag a.FP+ for mine train but remember you might have to ride standby instead.

Or you can join me in praying at some point in time Disney allows us to or ebook FP+ in more than one park as I think this would solve some of your concerns.

Good luck...for the record I did 4 parks in one day in Dec (crowd level 4), but AK had early hours and that helped tremendously. I rode EE, Space, Buzz, got picture with Merida, Haunted mansion, big thunder, splash, got a dole whip, standby for Soarin (70 min wait) and then used FP+ at HS and did RnRC, ToT and TSM (I got in before tiers). I was done about 5:15. You can do it but just know there will probably be a couple rides that you'll have to wait in standby.

Whispering Canyon is good, but IMO if you eat at a resort you are going to burn a lot of transportation time that could be used in the parks. Keep trying for BOG but I would do a back up table service at a park as well. If you are doing AK EE is usually manageable first thing in the AM. I would take advantage of any EMH you may have as well. Have a great trip!

This was my thought exactly. I really think you're going to have to have FP+ for 7DMT and it's not something you'll be able to get as a 4th when you reach MK. TSM is probably still manageable without FP+ if you are at DHS early as advised above and go straight there. Those are your two biggest challenges. Do AK as your middle park and have lunch at Flame Tree. (Be aware that you are likely to get seriously drenched on Kali. :scared: ) I agree with PPs that I would not waste park time going to a resort for dinner. Honestly, there are some perfectly good QS places at MK (ColumbiaHH, Cosmic Ray's, I liked the flatbread at Pinocchio's); I'm not sure I'd bother with a TS dinner unless you really want BOG and can get an ADR.

Good luck and have fun! :)

Thank you! HS basically we just want to hit those three and move on so I think we
Will go there first. We have always headed to tsm first without taking pictures or anything lol.
Then AK hitting Everest first then safari then see what time it is if a show is poss or not.
So then what time should
I guess fast pass for MK?
Alternatively we could start at mk and fast pass HS later but we would d up back at mk.
I did get an 8pm for
Liberty tree as an alternative. We have dining plan and always want to try something new.
Thanks I love these boards!

I'm just guessing at this, so don't take my word for it, but - if you start at MK and use your FP+ for DHS, you'll have to do 7DMT standby. I would rather gamble that TSM standby at rope drop is a shorter wait than 7DMT standby at rope drop (especially with the current "Main Street Cattle Drive" where they march the opening crowd together to the castle). :confused3

In my opinion this would be the only way to get this done... and its going to be completely hectic :thumbsup2

Snow White is the main goal that why we may wait for
Fast pass.. It's crazy I know lol

Ok...so assume you can ride all 3 by 10 (I honestly think thus is doable at RD since they usually open about 15 mins early. I would think you can be at AK by 10:45. Safari will have a wait then but EE isn't usually too bad. Maybe 30 mins or so and then I think originally you said you wanted to eat lunch there too. Maybe 4 hours at AK plus getting back to MK. I would say you could start FP+ by 3:30...maybe 4. But if you do this and keep your whispering canyon ressie, I might be tempted to do your FP+ after dinner...maybe around 7. I honestly would try to eat dinner inside MK though. That way you could start FP+ 3:30/4 and you wouldn't have to go in and then out.

Thanks. We can select fastpasses on Tuesday .. So hard to decide.. We keep trying bog for dinner and can't get it.
But not sure bog lunch could work. Originally we thought mk last.
So many options.
I know we can hit three parks but I don't want to mess up order. Hmm.
