I need DL help! We live in Orlando so are quite familiar with WDW but this is only my third trip to DL as an adult, last time being 2005. I'll be staying with DVC points for 6 nights- April 21-27, so over a busy holiday. A friend is reserving Ariel's for her family and me for one night to do the WOC package. What are other must-do's? I'm thinking of tours and/or meals that should be reserved. I'm not a park-commando but don't want to miss something that I'm not even aware exists. Thanks for any advice from the DL pro's!.---Kathy

You could always do the Fantasmic Dessert Seating. You get a reserved seat for the show Fantasmic & also get a tray of goodies & drinks during the show. It runs $59.99 but sometimes fun to splurge!

Favorite restaurants:
Carnation Cafe (we especially love their breakfast!!) If you're lucky, you could even meet Oscar that has been there since almost the opening of Disneyland. Wonderful gentlemen!!

Blue Bayou
Cafe Orleans
Celebration BBQ (if you like BBQ...this place is very, VERY good & all you can eat)

You're already doing the World of Color dining.....so that will be awesome!! We did the meal at Ariel's Grotto & found it to be one of the best meals we had on our last trip. The show is fantastic!!

The Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour is really a good one for learning the history & trivia of Disneyland & Walt Disney. Very informative & entertaining.

Over at California Adventure, make sure you step into the Animation Building & look around.....so many things to see & it really is a nice place to take a break.

See Aladdin, the Musical at the Hyperion Theater (just down from the animation building). This musical is broadway caliber & a must for us every trip.

Hopefully that will get you started & others will add some more ideas of things to do, see & try!!!

be careful ariels wont have princess for the dinner just makign sure you know that

id rather do ariels lunch an then do the picnic for woc

Thanks for the info! We will be all adults on this trip so no need to see the princesses for dinner, but good to know for the future! I didn't know there was a dessert seating for Fantasmic- can this be booked in advance? I'm thinking we would have to do so or wouldn't get it. Are the advance dinner ressies at 60 days prior?---Kathy

You can reserve Fantasmic! dessert seating 30 days in advance. It is advance purchase, non refundable for $59.00 per person.

DH and I really enjoyed it when we did it a year or so ago.
