Hello all! I am new to this and am very intimated with trying to plan a trip to Paris with a 3 & 4 and 15 year old. I am trying to plan this on a budget to the best of my ability! Any pointers? Tips? Best way to purchase tickets and lodging? HELP :)
Thank you in advance! I'm looking forward to your responses!

Hi there!!

It's not the same but I took DD first when she was 2 1/2 and recently at 4, so I can help you with the practicalities of that side. The others on here might be able to help you more with bookings etc. Is it just the 4 of you? The 15 year old will class as an adult.....

Are planing to stay onsite or offsite? How many nights? What are your goals in the park? Are kids fussy eaters or not?

How are you travelling?
Buggies/a double buggy will be essential. You'll cover often up to 9/10 miles a day!
If you are staying onsite tickets will in included with your stay aswell as breakfast. The biggest outlay while there will be food but there's many ways to keep that cost down: you could eat at McDonalds, buy food in the shops in the train station right at the park gate, catch a train and dine cheaper one stop up in Val d'Europe, we like character meals but instead of paying ¬20/¬35 child/adult we just order pizzas and share them (they are huge!) and you still get to meet Mickey, Minnie etc. Food purchases sometimes give you a 2nd slip which entitles you to a free hot or cold drink after 3pm from a range of outlets in both parks (hot choc is a godsend on cold evenings waiting for the parade & dreams ;) ) there's also water fountains where you could fill drinks bottles as drinks are pricey. You can bring food in so don't be afraid security won't turn you away if they see you're bringing your own lunch.

You have some options for accommodation:
You can book onsite or with the partner hotels, breakfast & tickets included via a travel agent or direct with Disney
Or
Stay off site and buy tickets or annual passes (passes with your photo printed on them that allow up to 365 days entry from day of validation to both DLP parks. They cost up to ¬200 each, under 3s are free, more info including the different types, prices & benefits at dlrpmagic.com or the useful info thread here)

For off site hotels i like hotels combined.com and alpha rooms. For onsite try a couple of different Disneyland Paris websites like the UK (.co.UK) or Irish (.ie) and often the french and dutch sites have good offers too. Offers vary from country to country.
Hope this helps!
