One of our park days next month has EMH until 3am. We are only there 3 days, and will not have park hoppers so that is our only MK day. My son (10) is really looking forward to staying until 3am so I want to make that happen for him. Thing is, my daughter (6) really wants to meet The Tremaines, The Fairy Godmother, and Gaston, some of which I think only meet in the mornings (although I can't find a free character schedule, Kenny the Pirate site is asking for money which I would rather try to find free first) We are traveling with my mother who is almost 60 so I can't count on her to be up early or stay out late, so I have to be available for both of my kids.

Right now I have FP+ at 11:35-12:35 for Haunted Mansion
Be Our Guest lunch ressies for 12:50
7DMT for 1:40-2:40
Wishes for 8:35-8:55

I was thinking we could head in for rope drop, do the M&G's, maybe IASW then HM, lunch, and 7DMT then head back to our resort for a nap. Head back in time for Wishes and then stay for EMH. Probably eat in the resort food court for dinner before heading out(All Stars) I will have a car, so I don't necessarily need to factor in bus wait/ride times. But it will be Spring Break so if we don't have FP+ I anticipate we will have super long lines so I don't see us getting much done in the morning aside from the characters before our first FP

Any input on if you think this will work? Anyone have the M&G times for these characters? Offer up different ideas?

We are doing a 2am at the MK this Saturday. Here's our plan- Going to Epcot in the morning and then back to the resort until about 9. Heading to MK for the evening. We ride the buses and we have a car. The last spring break my husband did the late night with my older boy. They were exhausted by the time they left. Just a thought..... Your plan sounds good. I would rest keep your plan, but would definitely consider riding the bus.

We did a 3am EMH (kids 7&9) it was the most amazing night of our trip. We did a morning at Epcot, break at the resort, dinner at the Poly, then back to the MK right after Wishes. We nearly rode every single ride in the Magic Kingdom, some more than once. While we were there we were on a adrenaline rush and no one felt tired, we hit a wall on the bus back to the resort at 3:30am!

To my knowledge The Tremaines, The Fairy Godmother, and Gaston only meet during the day, so I would make a point to meet them during the day. Here is a good list of what is open during EMH: http://touringplans.com/magic-kingdom/attractions/evening-extra-magic-hours

I'm planning to be at MK EMH until 3am the same day too (April 11th)!

My plan for that day is to hit EMH at DHS, then take a break after lunch (a nice long-ish nap!) before heading to MK late at night (probably around 7-9 pm). Then staying until 3am! So this is quite similar to your plan really.

From what I've read it's not too crowded right at rope drop (which is 8am that day) so hopefully you'll be able to get a few rides done early in the morning before your FP+s.

I'm really looking forward to the 3am EMH - I'm a night owl and am hoping for a nice empty park at that time of the night!

Yeah I might take the bus in the evening but drive in the morning. We'll see. I wish I could find the hours for the meet and greets.
