Help Me Plan My Magical Trip!

I can plan ANYBODY'S trip to Disney World....but am clueless at Disney Land! Please help me plan my trip. The dates will be arriving in Anaheim August 1 in the evening and departing August 5, very early in the morning. It is just my hubby and I....and we are hugely commando type planners.

When in the World we are out for Early Entry and stay til the parks close....so we are that type of vacationers. Given that we really will only have 3 full days in the parks, I would like to make the most of them.

Please give suggestions of where to stay (we have reservations at Candy Cane Inn currently), where to eat and what not to miss.

Also thoughts on Disney package deals versus piece mealing it all out would be greatly appreciated. I know I can purchase 3 day hoppers for $199 once checked in at CCI....but would like some thoughts on the perks of booking with Disney. I think it was like $25 more through Disney....but not sure if the perks are worth it.

Whatever info you can give, I am all ears! Should anybody need help at the other side of the World...I can gladly help with that! Thanks in advance!!

Fortunately for you you do not need to do as much planning as at WDW. But don't make the mistake that some do and think that means they do not need to plan at all.

August is a great time to visit. Have a great trip!

We seem to always visit during August. We price out package vs separately and for the most part separately saves money. 1 year we went with Costco due to the gift cards and "free" character meal.
