We're going on our first Disney trip this Sept. DS who will be almost 5, loves Chip and Dale, and would really love to do the camfire sing-along. We've planned to do so after our AK day since the park closes at 5 when we're there. We're a little torn on how to do dinner that day and would like some advice. The sing along starts at 7. We can either have a 4:15 dinner at Yak & Yeti in AK, have dinner at 4:40 at Boma, or have dinner at Fort Wilderness at Trail's End at 5:30. We're on the dining plan so the cost isn't an issue, and we're all adventurous eaters. We do have a Boma ADR another night of this trip though.

If we do Yak & Yeti we would take the bus from AK to WL and then boat over to Fort Wilderness. If we do Boma again, we'll bus over to MK and boat over to Fort Wilderness. And if we do Trail's End we could do either, depending on whether or not we want to stop back at our hotel room before dinner.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Trail's End if our favorite so I vote for spending all your time at the Fort. Theres plenty of fun things to see and do.

You can just take a bus directly from AK to Fort Wilderness. It will drop you at the front "Outpost" bus stop, then you can take an internal bus to the Settlement bus stop. That's where Trail's End is.

If you're staying at WL, then it's an easy boat ride back to your hotel. Watch Wishes and the Water Electrical Parade from the beach from either place.

I would go with the 5:30 Trails End... I don't think I would be very hungry eating at 4:15 myself. And since you all are adventurous eaters, I wouldn't want to eat at the same place 2x.

Thanks for the input. We usually eat dinner at 6:30, so 4 would be more like lunch for us! I really wanted Whispering Canyon Cafe, but alas no times available.

I would go with Trail's End. :goodvibes

You could also eat at The Wave or Chef Mickey's (if you can get an ADR) at the Contemporary and then take the boat over to Fort Wilderness.
