We were staying at DLP for four nights, but we decided to add the Disney Cruise out of Venice, so had to move to two nights only. I had everything planned so well, but now have to rethink it all, including dining.

We will be there on a Monday-Wednesday, which really screws up our dining. The two main places we wanted to eat--Walt's and Agrabah--are both closed Monday and Tuesday. Should I book lunch at Walt's Wednesday before we head out? We have half-board and I wanted to use those two vouchers for dinner Monday and Tuesday nights. I really need help with dining now. We also wanted to eat at Ludwig's and Hunter's Grill, but I can't figure how to work them all in now with the weird hours and only two nights.

Anyway, we will have two half days and all day Tuesday. I was thinking of going to Disneyland on the first evening, then all day Tuesday and doing the Studios on the morning Wednesday. But I'm thinking I'd like to end with Disneyland, but I'm not sure. What would you do?? We are taking the Thello (overnight train) to Venice from Paris. It does not leave Gare du Nord until like 8 p.m., so we can stay at DLP until around 4 p.m.

Thanks!!

I always like to end in the Disneyland Park too so I would do the following:

Monday - Disneyland Park with dinner at Ludwigs

Tuesday - Up for EMH then over to the studios. Dinner at Hunters Grill then back to the Disneyland Park if you want to

Wednesday - EMH again if you can and the rest of the day in the Disneyland Park. Lunch at either Walts or Agrabah

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure I want to leave the parks to go back to the hotel for Hunter's Grill. If we wanted to stay in the park and skip Hunter's Grill, where would you suggest eating that night instead?

In the main park we've eaten in Plaza Gardens and Blue Lagoon and enjoyed them both. Blue Lagoon wins over PG for theming though.

Where are you staying?

Sequoia Lodge. We did the Blue Lagoon in Disneyland California two years ago, so really wanted to try something different. I just wish Walt's was open Tuesday, it would make my planning so much easier ;)

As your staying at Sequoia Lodge you could always book HG AND somewhere else for the Tuesday just in case you fancy a couple of hours rest/trip to the pool on Tuesday afternoon.

It is a shame about Walts. After Blue Lagoon and Plaza Gardens the only other option in the main park would be Inventions but that would cost a lot more. It's a character dinner but they used to do a non-character lunch which was cheaper. It may be characters at lunch too now but I'm not sure.

How about this variation:

Monday - disneyland park, dinner in hunters grill.

Tuesday - half the day in one park, half in the other (depends if you want to do EMH OR get in to studios first thing for Crush or Parachute drop queuing...) with lunch while travelling between parks by going to King Ludwigs and have a light evening meal (earl of sandwich?)

Wednesday - disneyland park with EMH, Walts before home

I would say it would be worth booking a lunch at Walts before you leave on Wednesday. As an alternative to the Hunters Grill we have enjoyed eating at the Plaza before and it is a buffet like the Hunters Grill. :goodvibes

We find that when the parks are open late it is too much for the children to go from EMH right around to dreams without a break so we always head back to the hotel during the afternoon for a nap so as HFJohnson suggested you could go back for a rest then eat at Hunters Grill before returning to the park. :goodvibes

Slight edit to mine - if I was in DL park the first day, I'd be in studios first thing on day 2 after having a big breakfast and do everything I want in there. Then, when ready to leave studios (even if it's 2.30pm or something! ) I'd go to King Ludwigs then (you may catch happy hour that way too!) and then spend the rest of the afternoon and all evening in the main park (as it's open later!) , and the main park again on the final day.

OK! I think, thanks to y'all, I have a plan!

Monday: Head to DL for a few hours then come back to the hotel for HG and a swim. I will also make another reservation (if I'm allowed) for CP in case we want to stay at the park.

Tuesday: Head to the Studios first thing, spend the first half of the day there then late lunch at King Ludwigs then back over to DL. If we have a late enough and large enough lunch, I'm hoping maybe we can do snacky food for dinner to save money. We will have the pause gourmande, so that may help. I think we will have two of those each. But are those just sweet items? I digress... I would like to stay for Dreams that night if we can handle it.

Wednesday: Try to have breakfast in the park and spend the morning doing what we did not accomplish already. Walts for lunch!

How does that sound??

Sounds great! yes pause Gourmande is just a drink and a sweet treat; muffin, brioche, ice team, etc.
