My daughter will be newly turned 4 when we go in July. This will be her third time there - we went when she was almost 2 and then again when she was almost 3. These are the restaurants we’ve been to:
Mickey’s backyard BBQ
The Garden Grill
Akershus
Cinderellas Royal table
BOG
Crystal palace
Ohana
Artist Point

She loves princesses and keeps on talking about how she wants to go the “beasts castle” again to meet the beast, so BOG is a must. My husband also insists on crystal palace breakfast every time we go.

Any other ideas? We are on the dining plan and I’m toying with upgrading to the deluxe since she likes sit down meals and we like the break from the parks. I’ll have to see when they release summer discounts. We are staying for 6 nights 7 days - but have an early flight in day 1 (lands at 730 am) and a late flight back home (departs 530 pm). We have 7 day park hoppers.

i was thinking for sure Bon voyage breakfast since she’s super into Rapunzel.

I would consider 1900 Park Fare dinner and maybe even breakfast if your daughter likes Mary Poppins. If you want a "Mickey" meal, consider Tusker House.

I also would suggest 1900PF dinner or breakfast.

Glad to see Trattoria al Forno on your list. That was a huge hit with my 4 and 3 year olds last January. We really enjoyed our food and love that it isn’t a buffet (so much easier to have the food come to us with little ones.) It’s now a must-do for our family. Can’t wait to have it again in February!

Thanks! She’s not a huge Mary Poppins fan but does love Cinderella and found the step sisters a hoot when we met them last time. I’ll put that one on my list.
I didn’t even think about cape May cafe!
The food is good at tusker House? I’ve heard mixed reviews but would be willing to try it because she does love Donald.

we are staying at WL again so we may end up doing artist point again just because it’s so convenient being there.

Comments (in no particular order):

Beast is only at dinner.

Bon Voyage seems like the right thing.

Sanaa is good food & a good diversion (and 1-credit). Go during daylight to enjoy the animals.

Sci-Fi Dine-In is a very quiet meal (with mediocre food - yet we always go).

50's Prime Time makes great margarita's (because sometimes it's not about our children).

Beaches & Cream will be taking reservations soon (because sometimes it's about the children).

Hoop Dee Doo Review (for the children in us all).

Thanks. I am aware of the beast just at dinner. So annoying because it’s 2 dining credits but beauty and the beast has been her favorite movie for well over a year now, so it’s a must do for us.
I was debating about Sana’a. I’ve wanted the other times we went but they were shorter trips so I think I’m going to pull the trigger this time.

I always love a good margarita lol

We love Tusker House breakfast, Crystal Palace breakfast, and Cape May breakfast. Also BOG dinner. She might enjoy Tony’s at MK for lunch or dinner it has a Lady and the Tramp theme or Coral Reef at Epcot with the tank. Also 50’s PTC at DHS might be fun. We like Rainforest Cafe at AK for lunch. We enjoy breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL. They sometimes have antics.

I would say 1900 PF and Tusker House. My son who was almost 4 last trip enjoyed these places. He also liked Hollywood and Vine. He loved Disney jr characters at that time. Honestly 4 is such a great age she will be happy wherever you decide to dine!

I would caution against sci-fi diner at that age unless your daughter is comfortable with ‘scary’ movies/TV. My son was 4 and middle daughter was 6 when we went and both of them found the screaming in the clips really unnerving. For older kids and adults it’s obviously not scary at all but at that age our kids did not enjoy that meal.

Thanks. My daughter actually likes scary movies lol. So that may be good for her.

We only do Deluxe Dining, and we love it! My girls are 6 and 8 now, and enjoy:

-Cinderella's (I can take or leave it, but we had a scallop dish as an app in October and god it was delicious!)
-Garden Grill breakfast
-Akershus breakfast
-Ohana dinner
-Teppan Edo lunch/dinner
-Crystal Palace breakfast
-Tusker House breakfast
-Grand Floridan Cafe - any meal
-The Boathouse lunch/dinner (they always order off the adult menu here)
-Cali grill - only been for brunch and they love it!

We haven't tried Cape May Cafe or Chef Mickey's yet but I know they would like them.

Have you considered Storybook dinner at Wilderness Lodge?

Our kids had a great time at Whispering Canyon Cafe there as well. One asked for a refill on his drink and got a giant drink and a fastpass to the outhouse - it's wacky fun.

Yes we have done storybook Storybook dining the last time we went. I think we will do it again. We enjoyed the food and interactions. Never been to whispering canyon cafe but I May give it a try this time around. Thanks!

sounds like our littles are the same age. he will be 4 in May. we went last december and did:
50s prime time
Ohana Dinner
Hollywood & Vine
Cape May Cafe breakfast
Plaza Breakfast
GF Cafe

I would recommend Cape May Cafe breakfast again in a heartbeat, and H&V if you go during the holidays!!

we are going in May for his bday and are also on DDP.
We have ADRs planned:
Trex (for dessert only)
Tusker breakfast
Story book dinner
Topolinos Breakfast- new character meal
the Wave dinner
Pirates and Pals fireworks cruise
Homecomin'
Crystal Palace
BOG- Lunch
Ohana- husbands only request
and I hope to squeeze in Sebastions Bistro on our arrival evening because it sounds awesome!!

My son loves to sit and eat (even tho he is super picky) and we try to do at least 1 character meal a day with a half day at the park.

Yes they are right around the same age, my daughter turns 4 in June. I was debating about that new character breakfast as well. It seemed cute but I don’t know if the riviera is a PITA to get to from WL.
I think I’ll have to add cape May breakfast now as well. Thanks. She’s not so much into Disney junior anymore. More Disney Princesses and of course Mickey/minnie so I’m not sure about H&V. Was the good ok? I heard mixed reviews there

thanks for the recommendations

Cape May Breakfast was great! Daisy took my son and they were dancing thru the restaurant.. it was so sweet.
Book the Topolinos Breakfast and if it works at least you have it!!!!

We did H&V dinner last december and it was great. Goofy was dressed as Santa, all the characters were in their fancy red and green attire. food was fine. nothing that made me barf in my mouth, but nothing that i was like WOW! I would only go back to do a special event there. maybe Halloween or a star wars event. just because the costumes were special!!

I love the character meals for the kids... NO LINES FOR PICTURES!! kills 2 birds :)

https://www.distripplanner.com/i used this to see what plan works best for us. since we wont be doing dessert at some places, or I will only order an app- we do those ones OOP. but it still says it saves us about $200 doing the plan!! try it and see!!!

Thanks! I think we will probably pay for BOG OOP if we do the regular dining plan. I’ll have to see after I have everything all booked and planned out
