Hi everyone! We just booked our fast passes last week for our FIRST family trip to the world. My kiddos are young, 1 and 4 and the grandmas are coming along. My eldest is not interested in anything dark or too fast. At our local six flags he sticks with the spinner rides mostly (Dumbo types of rides). I didn't grab any fast passes for Fantasyland as we are hitting that area first thing in the morning but I can rearrange things if you all think it's advisable. We want to do Gaston's Tavern (forgot official name, I'm such a rookie!), Peter Pans Flight, Dumbo, Pooh, the carousel, tea cups, small world, and at some point during our trip I'd like to do the train. We will be taking the afternoon off and be returning to the park after dinner at Chef Mickey's. I'm looking for someone to help me with a plan with the least walking for the grandmas and the least waiting in line for my boys. I'm super excited to see that Dumbo and Pooh have interactive queues.

I am not a pro with the FP+, but since no one has chimed in yet.... IASW and the carousel are higher capacity rides it seem to me, so standby for those might be okay. PP usually is a long line so FP that. I'm guessing FP+ for Dumbo, Pooh and teacups too. If you do rope drop you might ride standby more quickly for the rides you don't have FPs for. And SDMR is one you probably will need a FP for.

Since the only time we were at MK during FP+ was during MNSSHP and didn't use them then, I can't speak for FP+ strategy.

Since you said you are heading there first thing, this is doable without having to use your fast passes for Fantasyland. Arrive at rope drop and head straight to Peter Pan's Flight. It will have the longest waits of the other rides as the day goes on. After you get off that ride Pooh. Small World is also right there so I would do that third. It's a high occupancy ride so the line isn't usually too terribly long, but doing it now will cut down on walking. I'd next head to Dumbo stopping to do the tea cups on the way. The carousel never has much of a line at all, so that can be done at any point in the day. Since you just finished Dumbo, the train is right there and you can hop on it for a cruise to Main Street, Frontierland, or all the way back around to Fantasyland. I'd recommend taking it to Frontierland and walking to Adventureland to do those attractions next, personally. Then you can do your midday break and come back to enjoy Tomorrowland.

I would definitely hit Peter Pan first. That line builds fairly quickly and stays long all day. The next line to build will likely be Pooh. I would probably do Small World third just to minimize walking.
I assume by train, you mean the one that circles the park? If so, go at any time. If you mean Mine Train, stalk for a FP+. It's the longest line in Magic Kingdom.
The carousel is also an anytime ride. Even Christmas week it didn't have a wait.
Gaston's Tavern is a place to get snacks (yummy cinnamon rolls!) If this is what you mean, you could also go at any time. (Whenever you need a pick me up.)

Thank you all!

By the way, LeFou's Brew at Gaston's Tavern is excellent. I definitely recommend it.
