Our 60 day reservation day is still a bit away but I want to make a plan of attack. We are going mid-September this year.

Here is the list that we are hoping to get.
In what order would you try and make the reservations?

TIA!

T+1 Y&Y (but I have Landry’s card)
Sangria University
Jiko for dinner at about 7pm

T+3 Tiffins for dinner near closing time

T+4 CRT late lunch about 2pm
Sweets and Seats dessert party

T+5 La Cava Tequila experience
Space 220 restaurant for dinner

T+ 7 Space 220 lounge for about 4pm

I appreciate anyone and everyone’s input with this. I’m so excited- it’s been a while!

I would do both Space 220s first, then CRT, then Y&Y. I'm not sure about the rest. If there is one that has to be a certain day and/or time, I would give that priority as well. If you are able to, have a secondary time/day for each in case your first choice is not available.

Jiko has always, without a question been our hardest get.

I will try the entire vacation hoping for cancellations but never have an opening show up for us.

People who make Jiko ADR's will walk through hot coals to get there, they never cancel.

Jiko is amazin! Have you been to space 220? you have the sit down and the lounge listed. They have a nice selection of food for the lounge and you don’t have to get the full price fixed meal?? We enjoyed the longe cool to see and the food was quite good. I had the chicken and waffles. For the price of their fixed meal maybe consider California Grille and watch fireworks. Just me sticking my two cents where it probably doesn’t belong so sorry

Space, then CRT. I don’t think you will have as much trouble with the others, but those two first for sure.

Sangria University and La Cava Experience are usually pretty easy to get at 60 days - and I highly recommend both! Keep in mind, though, that Sangria University is only offered on Sat & Sun and La Cava is only offered on Th - Sun, so plan your other dining reservations accordingly.

Space
CRT
La Cava Tequilla
Jiko
Tiffins

I don't think after doing Space once, you will want to do it a second time. YMMV.

Have never tried to do the others.

Doing Space restaurant with my sister and lounge with my son.
They both want to see it so twice it is.
I tried to convince my sister to do the lounge but she was adamant to do the restaurant.

If you plan to make all of those reservations within 30 minutes or so I really don't think it matters. A few minutes one way or the other probably makes no difference regarding availability. Many people have also indicated that previously unavailable ADR's open up closer to the date you are planning to visit. I assume what is happening is that people make reservations ahead of their trip and then find out they have changed their mind or those plans no longer work once there are at Disney and cancel to avoid the 'no show' fee. This creates opening in places that previously booked.

I don’t know that I agree with that. Space seems to be very difficult to get (at least for me).I’m doing a quick one day visit to Epcot and Space wasn’t available at the 60 day window.

You may need to aim for Space later in your trip too so really you’re booking over 60 days.

Yes, our Space is planned for T+5 (restaurant) and T+7 (lounge) so I’m hopeful.

3 more days til our reservations open up.
For the experiences (Sangria U, Sweets and Seats, La Cava Experience) I’m going to stay up til midnight and get those reserved.

Then: 1) Space 220 lounge (T+7)
2) Space 220 restaurant (T+5)
3) CRT (T+ 4)
4) Jiko (T+1)
5) Tiffins (T+3)
6) Y&Y (T+1)

Does this sound like the best plan?
I’m so excited!

Thanks all 🙂

Just chiming in about Space since I just booked ours recently. Our preferred time was not available for the day we wanted but I booked it anyway. I checked back about 30 mins later and was able to modify it to the early lunch we wanted.

Thanks!

In general I agree! Only swap I might make is doing restaurant 1 since it’s only T+5. I feel like the T+7 you should get.

However, your original order likely guarantees you to at least get a Space reservation, which as I said I have failed at for my one day trip coming up.

What about the experiences?
Will it matter what order to try and get them?
We have: Sangria University, La Cava Experience and Sweets and Seats.
Suggestions?

The space 220 restaurant is a lot easier to get. Definitely do the lounge first and then the restaurant.

Although, OP why do it both days? I’d personally just do the lounge and then eat somewhere else on your other Epcot day

I want both because first I’ll be there with my sister for a week and she’s adamant she wants to do the restaurant.
And then the day she leaves my son is coming to join me for a couple of days and wants to see it too so we’ll do the lounge then.
So luckily I can make both of those reservations with my original resort reservation since the lounge is our checkout day with my sister (even though I’ll actually do the lounge with my son).
Thanks again everyone for your suggestions!
