Help me plan a very romantic meal for my very romantic surprise anniversary trip!!

Hi guys, I just booked a small trip for me and Dh. We will be there 9/28-10/2 at POFQ....The trip is a total surprise and we will be there on our anniversary. I really wanted a super special meal for the two of us, and I was hoping that some of you out there could give me some wonderful suggestions. We are going to be on the DP so it needs to be a place that is covered by the plan. Thanks Guys.

You have a ton of options. First question is regarding the dining plan: will you be willing to spend two credits for your special dinner? if so, all of the signature restaurants are great. The ones that stand out based on what I've read are California Grill (on top of the contemporary, great view of the MK and fireworks), Artist's Point, Jiko, Flying Fish and Narcooses. Some great one-credit choices are Le Cellier, Spoodles (a bit noisy), Kona Cafe and San Angel Inn. Look at menus, reviews and pictures and see what appeals to you! Have a wonderful anniversary.

My suggestion is California Grill

Plan your arrival around either the sunset or the fireworks. My DW and I like to arrive about 45 minutes before sunset and watch the sun fade behind the Magic Kingdom. It's awesome

Go online and you will be able to find out when sunset will be for your date and then just ask your hostess for a window seat. You won't be disappointed!

If you wanted to contact one of the bakeries at Disney (I suggest the GF bakery), they are usually willing to work with you to make a small anniversary cake. I know some of the other Disney brides have done this when they've returned for their anniversary. If you post on the Disney Brides and Disneymoon board, I am sure someone could offer contact and possibly pricing information. Just be specific as possible when it comes to what you want if you do decide to go ahead and order. They're fabulous and could prbably replicate the top tier of your originial wedding cake if you sent a picture.
