Tomorrow morning is the big morning. I'm having trouble planning our last day. The park hours aren't available yet, so I'm not sure which park we're going to. I've already got two full days at MK planned and I don't know which park I might want to repeat. I'm thinking maybe Hollywood studios, so I'm thinking about Scifi, but that can be hard to get...I'm also toying with the idea of a day at one of the water parks and then Downtown Disney for DisneyQuest...or something...I just don't KNOW! I've been planning on one table service per day. We're on the basic dining plan and plan on paying OOP of HDDMR.

Here's the preliminary plan:

Wed. June 24th - arrive 1:30 pm
Dinner: Chef Mickey's
Magic Kingdom for parade/fireworks - generally check it out...

Thurs. June 25th - Disney Hollywood Studios
Dinner: Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package

Friday. June 26th - Epcot
Dinner: Garden Grill (my oldest LOVES Chip and Dale)

Sat. June 27th - Magic Kingdom
Breakfast: Crystal Palace - hopefully EARLY

Sun. June 28th - Animal Kingdom
Dinner: Hoop De Doo Musical Review (7:15)

Mon. June 29th - Magic Kingdom
Dinner: Liberty Tree Tavern - (want to get back here because it's the one place I remember from my trip in '79!)

Tues. June 30th - ????????
HELP!

Wed. July 1st - departure day - 5:30pm flight
Breakfast/Lunch: Ohana - thinking about a 10:30 breakfast, so it counts as lunch too!

Thoughts? Suggestions? I know we plan on avoiding parks with EMH. BUT, since we have park hoppers, we COULD do early morning EMH and then hop to the park that I originally had planned...thus the dinner plans in the park we end up at. Make sense?

Thanks for any help!

You do know that there are no longer characters at Liberty Tree Tavern, don't you? Some suggestions, depending on which park you are at: Biergarten or Rose & Crown at Epcot/World Showcase; Yak & Yeti at the Animal Kingdom; Cape May for breakfast at the Beach Club on your undecided day? Plaza Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom.

Yup, I know about the characters. I just so vividly remember the clam chowder from LTT, that I HAVE to get back there. And I know it sounds corny...but I lost my Dad two years ago and I also remember how much HE loved that clam chowder. I feel like I want to get back there...for him.

Hmmm...Cape May breakfast and then hit the water park or whatever other park we want...interesting thought!

Thanks!

I noticed you don't have anything in World Showcase. Maybe try one there. DH and I want to eventually eat our way "around the world":goodvibes Biergarten is one of our favs, we also had an excellent meal at Chef de France, and I am dying to try Le Cellier, it gets rave reviews. Good luck choosing! :dance3:

I understand what you mean about your dad. We went to Disney this past September a week after my dad died. As much as I didn't want to becasue it was so fresh and new, I knew that I had to go on Spaceship Earth as it was my dad's favorite ride. The boys always called it "Grandpa's Ball" when they were little.

I definitely think that LTT is a keeper for you! :grouphug:

You should try something from EPCOT World Showcase... maybe Le Cellier, Tutto Italia or Chefs de France

Just based on my experience trying to get Fantasmic Package for June 23--I too wanted Mama Melroses--I got Fantasmic, but had to take Hollywood & Vine. I could have had Mama Melroses without Fantasmic.

I called right at 7:00 this morning and was on hold for about 30-45 minutes. By the 1 hour mark all of my ADRs were done! I had to switch Fantasmic nights because the first one we wanted was sold out for Mama Melrose and I had to go with an earlier time, but we got it! So basically, I'm switching my MK and DHS days. I think that's a good thing. I think MK is a good first day park. We'll just have to battle EMH crowds. Here's the list!

Wed. June 24th Dinner 5:00 PM Chef Mickeys
Thurs. June 25th Dinner 5:10 PM Liberty Tree Tavern
Fri. June 26th Dinner 6:05 PM Garden Grill
Sat. June 27th Breakfast 8:05 AM Crystal Palace
Sun. June 28th Dinner 7:15 PM Hoop Dee Doo Cat 1
Mon. June 29th Dinner 3:55 PM Mama Melrose
Tues. June 30th Breakfast 8:00 AM Cape May
Wed. July 1st Breakfast 9:50 AM Ohana

Thanks KatMark...I ended up doing Cape May breakfast!

90 days to go!! Woo HOOOO! Thanks everyone!

Congrats on getting all of your ADRs! :goodvibes I noticed earlier you had mentioned that had a good memory of the clam chowder at Liberty Tree Tavern, but your ADR is for dinner. For dinner I believe they are still serving the fixed menu, which is kind of like a thanksgiving feast with salad, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, stuffing, ham, turkey, and pork. So if you want the clam chowder you would have to go for lunch.

D'oh!!! Ahhh well...I'll have to think about changing it to lunch instead. Thanks for the heads up!
