help me pick my tattoo

First of all, I love the Hello Kitty idea cause i'm like obsessed with Hello Kitty. I like the second one better.

Paula, you already know how I feel about tattoos, haha. BE CAREFUL! Did you ask the artist if they WILL tattoo your heel? I stupidly didn't, and then found out they wouldn't tattoo the heel. So, I got it on the top of my foot instead. I'm now looking around for an artist who will tattoo my heel as I've got the idea already for the next one.

PS, the second one is better. I'd be worried about the 1st one bleeding in together and then the whole fading issue.

Yeah, he said that a heel tattoo would fade in about 3 months, so he did it a little higher up, but still basically my heel area. I'll post a pic. It didn't really bleed together, though, it looks groooovy.

I'm just saying you might want to go for something more timeless and iconic for something that's permanent.

Maybe a mickey head...

I totally understand what you're saying, but the question at hand wasn't to get or not get the tattoo. Getting the tattoo was a done deal, haha. I completely respect your opinion, tho.

and I plan on getting a mickey head at some point as well, haha.

yeah, he said things that move a lot and are used a lot fade faster. But I totally feel your pain with the foot tattoo, this one was so much more painful than my bird.

what are you planning on getting on your heel/hand? im sure you can find an artist who'll do them.

and la vie en rose/la mome is an awesome film. i didn't see it until this summer, but it was really good. After I watched it i downloaded a bunch of edith piaf songs off of itunes because I'm a huge nerd. (proof being my hello kitty tattoo)

Yeah, more boney right? That's what my artist was telling me, "you have boney feet! You can see the tendons move and everything!". LOL. Surprisingly I only jerked once. How did the arm one feel like though? The foot one probably felt more like a deep scratch, right?

It's cliche but I really want the word "believe" on the side of my foot. The same one with the other tattoo, lol. And Sonya, I know a girl who has believe tatooed (At least it looked like it) in between her index finger and thumb on her left hand. It was really beautiful especially with the type of lettering she had, very whimsical but sophisticated. so I'm anxious to see pictures if you get yours done.
