I've realized that since the parks close a bit early on 2 of our March nights, why not take advantage of some more TS dining late in the day (9 pm)? (It's just DH and I.)

Anybody had problems eating that late (running out of dishes, etc.)?

Is CG a lot better than AP?

I may not do 2 expensive restaurants though . . . So just tell me your top choice or 2!

These are my choices for dinner on 1 night, based on current availability:
Artist Pt
Narcoosee's
Citrico's
Kona
Hoop De Doo
Plaza or Liberty Tree (only really on the list b/c I thought it might be fun to leave MK an hour after the park closes once we're done eating)

These are my choices for the 2nd night:
Artist Pt
Cali Grill
Citrico's
Kona
Narcoosee's

Thanks!

Narcoosee's was really good. I really enjoyed it. We went there for my hubby's bday.Years ago we went to Liberty Tree. I really enjoyed that one too. The rest of your list are places I'd like to try someday

The problem with Liberty Tree is you might not be in the mood for a "set" dinner of turkey, pork and beef covered in gravy. Hoop has a set menu, but you do have a pretty good show.

DW and I loved Artist's Point ... ate there a thousand years ago (15 actually but it seems that long). Both places at Animal Kingdom Lodge are awesome. Boma is a fab buffet with an incredible selection of dishes (meats and fish) but with unique tastes. Jiko is great and like AP it is a signature resturant so more expensive. You could try another of our favs ... Flying Fish (signature) over at the Boardwalk. You could leave HS (by boat) or Epcot (by foot) around 8 and have dinner at 8:30 or 9:00. BUT .... check your transportation options to get back to your resort. We did that (late dinner) at FF last trip and had to go over to the Swan and catch buses all aroun Robin Hood's Barn to get back to POP.

I'd say AP for the more expensive dinner. I personally prefer more of the menu choices there than at CG, and I think the atmosphere lends itself better to a quiet/private/romantic adults-only experience. For the other, I'd recommend Kona. The restaurant itself has a higher energy level but it is still a romantic setting with wonderful food.

If it were us, we'd probably go to Narcoossee's and then Artist Point. My DW absolutely loves Narcoossee's. The atmosphere is fun, and being right on the water is very nice. Food has always been very good, and the service is wonderful.

I think that Artist Point is becoming my favorite meal on property. I guess I realized that when I was pretty bummed out that we weren't going to be eating there when we travel down in April (our friends on the trip with us shy away from more expensive places). To me, AP has some of the best ambience, and the food is wonderful. We've never had a bad experience there.

Hope this helps. The good news is that no matter what you pick, you'll have a great time and eat some wonderful food. Have fun!

We are from the West Coast so we eat late every night. The only problem we had was Narcoosee's ran out of desert! :scared1: Well, not all deserts but the only desert that was not chocolate :rotfl: I was tired of cheesecake and can only do a little chocolate before I overload on it.
